I am a student pursing my BA in Information and Technology, along with raising FOUR teenagers.
Three of the teens are 14, the other is 17. Now you tell me! How do I get my Homework done and deal with silly teenagers too. I already cannot concentrate and can not remembering Math formulas. Do anyone know of any study stills for a depressed person.

Cue cards are your friends... if not that, using powerpoint (slides) and doing it that way... having something tactile to play with is easier for me than reading a gynormous textbook. Maybe you can get your teens to help you study? Trying to cope Might get rid of them quick enough to leave you alone...

Math is icky... Any way to say it out loud to yourself while doing it? Give yourself plenty of breaks... 5-10 minute break for a 30minute study session. Maybe having something to munch on at the same time (like peanuts... I think I heard they're good for the brain).

Good luck!

Butterfly38,
Sorry for the problem you are having. When I was going to college not long ago (online), I was having the exact same problem. I finally found a solution so that I could get my homework done with my 3 girls around. I also had a hard time remembering a lot of what I learned from the above and my depression.
I also have to have a visual of what I am trying to do with my homework.
I finally had to put time aside everynight if necessary, went in my room and closed the door. If I didn't have homework on a night, I would either relax or move forward on my next assignment. Believe me it was really hard. It took a lot of disciplining of myself, always keeping my goal in my mind. I don't know if this is of any help to you Butterfly, but don't give up. You should be very proud of yourself and what you are trying to accomplish. Good for you! Nina52
