I completely and irrevocably suck.


Having changed meds I realise how "un me" the meds I was on made me, how they "made" me ignore my health (and other issues) Now I'm left to clean up the mess, including a "butt" issue I've ignored for over 2 years. The doctor completely fobbed me off, I;m used to being treated as if I'm worthless by doctors so accepted it and refused to look at the alternatives of what it might be as the doctor, as usual, couldn't be bothered. So now I have to make an appointment and insist on being looked at
and ... oh whats the point in cluttering up this place with my garbage.

I wish I knew what else to say, but I'm not feeling brilliant either, so my brain is only just working (or it feels that way at least).

Edit: Your post is not garbage. Get the 'mess' cleared up as and when you can deal with it. The sooner the better, but if it's waited a couple of years, giving yourself a couple of weeks to feel better probably won't hurt too much.

With doctors.. it's often like you're another statistic, another problem to be gotten rid of, not a person trying to deal with something. Just keep badgering them all the time, and don't let them fob you off. It's hard work, but sometimes necessary.

Make him refer you to the right Dr. and take your appt. when you are ready.

Sorry you are going thru other stuff with meds and all.

YOU DO NOT SUCK, and please come out from under the rock, you are too special to be under there. I know how you feel about drs., I got a don't call us we'll call you from a dr.. Do you have anyone who could go with you and push for you, I bring my husband, because he will fight for me, where as I back down and run. As far as cleaning up your messes, they can wait, or maybe set a small goal each week, and clean one or two small things up, but if you can't do it, oh well it can wait and give yourself more time to heal and give yourself credit for trying.

you have the correct attitude about getting up and taking care of these things that have slacked off.. but its up to you if you want to follow thru... i wont encourage you to do anything im not willing to do myself, so im going to be cleaning up my own health act some too... i hope you make it if its something you really want, but we can do it if we want to hon.... im always your friend forever no matter what... sending hugs and cares..

It saddens me that you have put up with a physical health problem for over 2 years because a doctor fobbed you off. Fuzzybear, please go back to the doctors and insist on seeing a different doctor. Take someone with you if you need to so that you can tell them how much this is affecting you. It might be something that is easily treated but then again it might be something serious! You need to know either way. Go do it Fuzz!

I really thought it couldn't be anything but the .... that people don't like to talk about

(I've been on bromocriptine for a (misdiagnosed) "brain tumour" which completely messed with my insides, as well as psych meds which also messed things up inside..

But my mother died of ( ( ..... well if someone has to get this its better a "bad" person like me, probably part of me feels I deserve to be punished all my life like some in childhood and later have said, so bring it on

But I'm phoning the doctor today and will insist on being looked at

I've had so many doctors who completely didn't care and/or made wrong diagnoses (and lied to me) I felt I was undeserving and have been labelled "neurotic" .. seen it in my notes

I'm such an idiot.

I think it is brilliant you are going to get a dr appt. Doctors can and will brush you off, but you've got to press for the treatment. You've got one body, however sucky it might seem

(((fuzzybear)))))) it feels safe to avoid, its sensible you chose it when things were overwhelming for you.. believe in yourself and your goodness and if you are able, accept that you have grown.. you are smarter than ever before.. you have a better idea now of what you want and dont want to be present in your life.. you may be able to examine the current elements in your life and discard those that no longer provide yourself with the best opportunities for healing.. allow those thoughts and ideas which at one time were helpful to fall away now that you no longer need them... love to you always dearest kind fuzzy

p.s. no matter what the Doc says today fuzzy you have us, you can make it hon, goodness will follow you all your days and even that which appears to be 'bad' news is yet another opportunity for healing... your good buddy always and forever hon

Thank you my friend for your kindness and wisdom. The dr (a new one there) I saw was much better than any I've seen for years, quite "human" - she had a look and its what I originally thought (a "big" one but nothing sinister)
