Hi. I was just wondering about something.

You guys have an inside world to right? So, which is more important to people outside, if they hear about ab*se going on? The inside world, if theres ab*se going on there, or the outside world?

Ok, It might be confussing... Umm...

Ok, theres an apple right? But no one can eat it unless it says so. So, the inside is all brown. And it says it is brown, do people care?
Now, say the same thing happened, only on the outside, and people can see that it's brown. Will the people be worryed over if it's brown on the inside or outside?

ERRR!!!! I think I'm confussing my self LOL! Ok, I'll quiet. Hopefully you guys got it and can answer the question.

No, I mean, Does it matter more to people about what is going on in your inner world, like it does if the same thing was going on t=in your outter world (Outside the body?)

oK. If something happened inside, and you turned it inside out, so it was on the outside, what would people around you care more about. That they could see it on the outi\side, or, that it was on the inside, and they are just glad they don't live the persons life?

I think I get it, and it depends on who I'm around as to what they would be the most interested in and care about. People tend to care about what's before them in the moment. If they had to deal with inside, they did because they had no choice.

My husband and family want to see the outside me and for me to function as well as I can all the time. They don't like to be forced do deal with what's inside me when triggered (even though it's not often anymore).

Of course, dr's and t's would mainly show in interest and care more about the inside, but that's their job. Because of that, they care to have more of that inner window if they can get it.

Unless triggered, it depended on who I was around as to what they could see more. It got to where, in therapy, it almost "all hung out". However, outside of that, I could generally keep it together and allow them to see the me that they wanted to.

I'm sure that most, whether they have more of an interest/care about the outside or inside, would be glad they didn't walk in shoes.

ppl around in my everyday world do not want to see my inside world explode in their face
they cannot take it when i alter cos i am not "me" anymore to them thats not who they know and so they dont understand and they tend to be seen as caring less
T's and Dr's delve into that they want to sort out the mess in our 'inside world' so they care more about that thats not to say they dont care about our 'outside world'
as one affects the other thou

Not asking about triggers and stuff, just, Alters attacking Alters, and if anyone wants to hear about that stuff outside, and how important it is compeared to if they could SEE it happening right infront of them... (Should have said this in the begining...)

Shadows--your last post made sense. I'm not mad at you for confusing me--it has nothing to do with you personally. I was stating that I too was confused--no blame, no faulting--my own state of mind. Sorry you felt hurt.

My own experience of Insider attacking Insider on the inside as well as on the outside provided a very unsafe state for us. Ppl who didn't understand just thought I was being "self-destructive"--they wouldn't even want to know about my inside world.
Those that do know and understand were interested in what was happening because what went on inside carried onto the outside.
That doesn't always happen.
Not many ppl know I have DID and I like to keep it that way. Of those who do know it is only 3, my H, my T and a very close friend, who even care about both sides. My thought is that it doesn't really concern anyone else.

Ya, that's what I wanted to know. That's good my past post made sense, *Smiles.* Ya, sorry more people don't want to know what's going on inside, and help others like you, with DID, and the misunderstandings... I was just watching an epasode of Mutant X called, Brothers Keeper. It's about DID. Anyways...

no body can see inside my brain so they cant see what my internal world is like. I don't have chaos inside. going inside is what I do when the outside world is going nuts. inside its very safe and calming to me. Its like when I have a nightmare and wake up in a panic all I have to do is use my imagination and float away. I hear voices and stuff when I am not dissociated but no one outside my body can hear them and stuff. like that saying what you don't know can't hurt you. people outside me don't know that I have DID so to them Im just Crystal their friend, daughter, co worker, they don't see me as any different then I anve always been.
