Feeling low and alienated right now. But just being on this forum helps all of me's an awful lot. I've not posted in a while, but have been reading. Outside J wants to say a big thank you for everyone being open and honest on here.

Living life in pieces is tough. Too tough sometimes.

we're not doing well in the slightest,

both in the emotional sense (very depressed at the moment), but also very switchy and remembering things we don't want to remember

met with a new psychiatrist last week. Started my step down from xanax. The first and second days were agony but I feel better today. It will take me 6 weeks to finally be off xanax. I had to increase my zoloft in order to guard against really severe depression. So far so good.

Well, here I am. It's taking me awhile to find a group for this, I know I should be somewhat happy but it doesn't change the situation. I have to what I know 4 alters. I really don't know how to deal with all this. I'm in a body I don't recognize. I'm around people I don't know and I feel lost.

Dissociated whilst exercising today. I usually have fun when I do zumba, and stay present. But I've started the Couch to 5K running scheme, and have found myself getting very upset every time I run. Today's run was supposed to be twenty minutes, but I found myself with a lot of time missing from my consciousness. I'm wondering if others feel like this when they exercise?

The fact that it's Mother's Day in the UK, and a different Mother's Day in the U.S, means Social Media is VERY HARD right now. My mum was abusive as hell, but nobody wants to know about it - like only men can be violent/abusive to their kids or others. I hate Mother's Day. I just hope we can both get through it okay.

I hear you on this.

my family was the same as yours, my mother especially (really abusive)

I never even met my father anyway, but from what I've heard about him, not sure I want to

I had siblings, but they were also abusive.

when is mother's day in the US?. I thought they fell on the same day
