I do think there is some confusion amongst people regarding integration.

Integration is about becoming aware of all the parts. Becoming co-conscious. It does NOT mean losing any of the parts. None of the parts disappear! In fact you become more of a person rather than being less.

True integation is where all the parts have a go. ie. One part doesn't run the whole show all the time.

I am not fully integrated, and because of what we all have been through probably never will be. I'm ok with that. All the parts are special and I celebrate the fact that this multiplicity is what helped me to survive.

My view on integration.

I also... celebrate my parts... my multiplcity... and "no one" disappears..

I struggle with this word "integration" because of my first T... of 10 years... I do believe that I got very mixed up on this subject of integration.. he had very "cut and dried" viewpoint on this subject.. and it just led to alot of heart ache on my part.. I was striving for a concept that he invented.. who knew what it was or how he arrived at his opinions...

I could go on... but won't... he really mixed me up..Because he was one mixed up T - he was sued several times.. after that...(not by me).

It took three years with the next T... to correct what he had done... regarding the word.. "integration"..

And with this new T of 8 months... the word "integration" cropped up once again... and it put me in a panic - because again there was so much confusion with the first T....

I did not want to go back to the "cut and dried" viewpoint of my first T...

My view on integration.
