So in the last couple of days. My thoughts have said I am going to take you to Greenbriar. I have NEVER heard of anything called Greenbriar. My mother did pull up to an orphanage and say get better or get out but that was called something else. Then a seperate I had the thought, Satan says. Plus many other crazy things. Other people with DID or OSDD say they have commentary on what they are doing. These are just random thoughts that pop up make no sense. I noticed thst these thoughts are becoming louder. They are still coming from me though not an outside source. Its getting on my nerves. I notice these thoughts mainly happen when I am not busy.

If it was me, I would sit down and journal what you are hearing. Write what you hear with no questions of where (or who) it’s coming from or trying to figure out what it means. I include the feelings that I’m feeling also.
That helps me get it out of my head and onto paper. Sometimes getting it on paper, where I can look at it instead of hearing it helps.

Mindfulness helped me find images one time when I was stuck in a hard place. I know that seems to be a go to a lot these days, but it did help me find images in my mind that I hadn’t seen before.
The hard place I was in was with me and I sat, breathed and cleared my mind and opened my mind and images came. I didn’t understand them but I just let them come. I have a sketch pad and colored pencils. After the images came I drew what I saw and it helped me put some pieces together. I took the drawings to my next session and talked about them. I hope you can find something that helps you! Anything that gets the thoughts out of my mind and puts them where I can see them help me. Hug!!

I am losing my mind I feel like I am going to do something bad. I dont even know what is truly going on. If this is even the right forum to put this stuff on. Or should I be on the psychosis forum? I cant talk to my T she is on vacation. I dont want to go to the hospital. I am scared.

It doesn't sound like there's anything to be scared about right now. You don't appear to be in any danger. It seems like you are reporting random thoughts that aren't accompanied by an emotion or action. Is that an accurate assessment of what you are saying here?
If so, I don't think you or anyone else are in any danger from there random thoughts that pop into your mind. Maybe obsessing about them is making it worse for you right now because you are panicking about what it means or what it is. So much of your attention seems to be on there ramdon thoughts that don't seem to mean anything to you. What would happen if you just noticed them and then let them pass by without worrying about them too much? |
