I have gained 20 pounds in the last 6 months. I no longer have clothes that fit, just my old sweatpants. I wait until I'm really hungry, then eat til I'm ready to explode, which leads to MAJOR guilt. Sometimes I try to throw it all back up. I'm usually unsuccessful(my most success is in the morning), and just end up dry heaving for about 5 minutes before giving up and crying. Recently I tried NOT eating, and wound up with blood sugar so low I couldn't walk, needless to say I fixed that by eating... and I ate too much. I don't know what to do... Maybe not an ED? Something is wrong, though.

It sounds like an eating disorder to me... binge eating. When you eat so much that you are ready to explode then that is followed by guilt... those are major symptoms. Dont turn to not eating because that you are just going to the other side of the ED. I think it would be in your best interest to try to let someone know about this.

Hello I hope you are feeling okay at this time. What you have is an issue withgaining weight and it is getting to the point of becoming an eating disorder. I am hypoglycemic as well, and I have to watch what I eat, because I gain weight easily as well. What you may be experiencing is problems with your thyroid, and you may need a physical at this time. to help you get the medication that you need to stop losing the weight.. there are diets under the American diabetic Association that can help you lose the weight slowly in a healthy manner. Instead of throwing up you shouuld try exercise like walking twice a day in order to help your body burn the calories you are eating. I have to walk everyday, in order to feel better about myself, since I am a size 18-20( Womens Size), but I am healthy I am just a bigger person. You may also want to go look for clothes that fit at a local clothing bank, and feel better about yourself in your new clothes that fit well. If you need help finding a clothing bank let me know and I will try to find one in your area. Also there are many other weight loss meetings you can join, to help you lose the weight, such as TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) in your area if you check the local paper. Some meetings are held at the local churches. The main thing is to be sensible about your dieting, and get a physical nd let the Dr know what has happened to your weight, so that you may get the help that you need, in a safe manner. hi, i no wot u mean i did that a couple of yrs ago n trust me it dont help u put on weight.
try n understand the underlying reason y u r doing that
u will not loose weight by not eating because u get so hungry n eat too much.
eat stuff that has no calories n it wont make u feel guilty any more!
if u give me more information height,weight etc
ill try n help u coz ive bin through n now i have an ed n trust me u dont want one.
