so... my road to recovery has taken a new turn... am stopping eating all together..... it seems to be the "solution".. to eating and being sick.. all the time..

no eating... the worse I get is dyhydration... that is better....

than getting sick..

having my "sugar" out of balance.. and being "quacky".....

so... day one.. of no eating.. starts tomorrow... can go for a very long time..... have done it before.. just don't get hungry....

happy about my decision.. is ok..

Please at least get some medical supervision with this. You may be able to go a long time, but eventually you will need something for food and calories, and the longer that you don't eat, the harder it will be when you do have to. It may be easier for now, but not in the long run. Please take care of you, my friend.

it sounds like youve been having a really tough time.
i understand how you feel as i go through phases of different eating habits and its just so so hard.
If youre not going to eat, make sure you get some vitamin supplements. I usually also try to keep my blood sugar level safe with juice drinks and lattes/mochas.
What kind of food do you usually eat?
I find that if I eat food that i label as "bad", i cant sit with it.
it might be worth trying a healthy eating recipe from scratch, i find that preparing and cooking healthy food and eating it with someone that i feel comfortable really helps.
hope youre ok

sweetie.. I wish I could do what you do.... I really do...

The "end"..... to an eating disorder is when your body "shuts down"... so I don't have the options available to me... that others do...

you see.. when you have damaged your body as I have... vitamins... protein.... they don't digest....

so it isn't that I don't want to eat... it is a matter of finding something.. that will... stay in my system...

Thank you for trying to help....

well there must be something that you can eat that stays down. even if its just one bite..
and if youre afraid of binging then make sure its something dull and maybe even tasting gross, that way it wont get out of control and can stop at just one bite

Freewill,

What has helped you in the past stay in your road to recovery?

Are you in complete agreement that this is the best choice for you?

Not to be contrary or to question your decisions, but is this really the best you can do?

I don't know your full situation, but I have read some of your posts and think you are a smart person with alot of insight who has a good heart.

Your decision sounds like a punishment for someone or something (your own body?) that has let you down. I don't see food deprivation as the answer here and I certainly would not categorize it as a part of any "recovery".

I watched my own daughter slowly starve herself and can say firsthand that it is a horrible thing to let get started. There has to be another, better way for you--please endevour to find it.

My daughter is actually making some progress now. She's up about 4 pounds and is acting like her old happy self. We'll see how long this lasts. In the meantime, maybe try some Ensure's? They have a lot of good things in them and are, from what I am hearing, easy on the stomach.

Try to approach this decision again but without any anger, blame or frustration. Use only common sense and logic and see where that takes you.
