Pretty much the same as usual (in a negative sense) but I just went to the shops and got some yummy stuff, and am fairly happy that I'm losing weight, so that's something.

I feel kinda up after a chance encounter in my kitchen. I have 2 Maine Coon cats named Duit and Didit. (pronounced "Do It" and Did It") Rather large cats, weighing 32 and 26 pounds respectively. As I was getting something ready to mail this morning, I noticed that they kept jumping up on the stove, which is a big no-no. I kept shooing them down, only to have them jump right back up. I noticed Duit standing on his hind legs pawing at the top of my oven, which is an old antique from the 50's that still works great. It has a vent that runs up through the roof. I looked to see what he was pawing at and saw a little head pop out real quick, and then back in the vent. Freaked me out at first because I assumed it was a mouse. After a few seconds, it popped out again, and this time I could see that it was a bird, which then flew out of the vent and across the kitchen into the living room. The scene that followed was like a Tom and Jerry cartoon, with the bird flying from the cats, the cats chasing across furniture and bumping into walls and windows, and me flailing about trying to catch the cats. After catching both cats and shutting them in the bathroom, I was able to open the door and coax the baby wren out. I then sat down, my heart racing 90 to nothing, my hands shaking uncontrollably, and laughed until I almost passed out. So, today I feel good, thanks to a tiny bird that lost it's way.

((MamaKay)) I am glad that you and the kitties and bird is ok-- but what a story!! I am glad that you could find some humor in it too even though of the shock of it all-- which is all understandable.

I am ok.... i am up too early for a night owl, which each monday it reminds me- i need to get off of night-- I have cleaned up and started cooking however-- I am a little anxious- we did not call the apt people over the weekend, so I will have to sit here by myself i suspect while they do work oh well right..

I am feeling a little torn between my supervisor who is confiding in me, and the crew who I think she is misjudging. I believe the crew she is criticizing is a good working crew....she, however, wants me to lean on them and nag them a lot. Is this a test? Does she want me to be nitpicky like she is? Could she be checking me out to see if I would bend to her wishes just because she is my boss? SHOULD I bend to her wishes just because she is my boss?

I've actually had a few really good days. My girlfriend and I are starting to plan out getting a tralier or apartment with her son and his baby & baby momma. So we'll finally have her and both her kids living together again. I can't wait. =) 4 incomes will be more than enough to pay the bills, too. My girlfriend and I are still talking through things, which tells me this is a new begining for us. So I'm gaining a lot of hope and confidence through that. And I'm starting to utilize some of my DBT skills, too. So things have been (and contimue to be) looking up for me. =)

I've sunk to new depths. I'm seeing a psychoanalyst on Wed (for the first time) to help me deal with my regular psychoanalyst, who I see on Thursday. I am pathetic

i know i already posted for today-- but i did get a nap but idk... i feel that slump down again for some reason-- unsure and stuff.. idk-- sunday i had a bad down, i told my S/O I had to get rid of my stuff so he would not have to bother with it... he was a little upset with it but talked to me with it all... idk why; Saturday i had dwelling memories of the past that were hard to shake.. and again IDK why...
I have noted that -- lately i have been getting more flashes of these thoughts of never getting truly better, that I am wrong with everything-- suppose this will pass...
On the bright side i made a pretty hat again today

My dog got hit by a care on our walk last night and I spent the night at the emergency vet in the nearest large city. Very tired today and struggling with the treatment orders.

Gosh I am so sorry!! I hope that your dog is ok, and the treatment/bills will be manageable.

My Becky pup is very sore and her stitches are infected. The vet gave her a shot of antibiotics and cleaned the wounds with saline betadine solution today. He put triple antibiotic ointment on it and gave me three tubes so I can do that at home. She had a pain pill so she's sleeping right now. I don't feel like walking without her. I have to keep her in for two weeks except out briefly to potty her. I'm supposed to go to a wellness convention in two weeks but I don't want to leave her. I feel guilty that she was not on a leash. Usually not much traffic on a Sunday night.

I have too much going on at the moment. Trying to nurse my dog that was hit by a car, trying to get ready for my brother and his wife coming to visit, trying to get ready for a trip. I'm tired and I don't want any of it. Now I find out Mom has invited at least 11 people for dinner while my brother is here and she presented me with the menu today. I don't know what to do with the branch on the power line that's ripping the wiring out of the shop. (Farmgal runs away screaming...)
