Driving is finally starting to get easier and less panic-inducing. I wonder when I'll be able to just hop in the car and go somewhere any timeI need to, and not give it a second thought? At this point I can transport myself from point A to point B (not yet from point A to point Z; long distances are probably still out of my reach) but I have to keep thinking about what I'm doing at EVERY second. Not that it's a good idea to zone out while driving anyway, but it would be nice to go from hyper-alert to simply alert.

I am thankful for my job. Seriously, I could have it so much worse. I make good money, have decent benefits and at least for the current contract, I have a decent retirement plan.
Yeah, quite thankful for my job!

I am thankful for empty water bottles. I refill them with leftover pop from the 2 litre pop bottles so the remaining pop does not lose its fizz due to extra air.

For being reminded to 'not forget'---(where I came from---something about that city, it has and will continue to be a reminder to not forget, rejuvenates my soul)

That I stood my ground when my ex went into yet another demoralizing tirade against me.
As I always say...YES it's my fault the marriage ended and most of the problems were mine...BUT STILL....geeze-all-frickin-mighty....stop dumping on me just cause you feel like you NEED to remind me!

So I am glad I stood my ground and told her to STOP
(that didnt go over so well, but I had been forewarned that it probably wouldn't)

I am thankful that my car wasn't towed and that I didn't have to talk to anyone when I ran out gas while driving home from dropping my sister off. I am also thankful that the car lasted until I was positioned out of the way of traffic and onto a level median area. Although it was a very unpleasant experience and I still had a mild panic attack, it is nowhere near as bad as it could have been.

I found the most awesome 10 hours of rain and thunder noises, plus an animated forest gif to play in the background... For once I'm not depressed or pissed off at all. It hasn't rained up here in so long, the heat must have been getting to me... It's nice to forget life.
Thanks for this!

Feeling motivated to get a job. So thankful that I've felt driven enough to get an interview and work on applying more places.

Also I am thankful for a good experience driving today! Normally driving scares me.
