Well, there are many, but I am especially happy the plumber finally came. Our bathroom sink had been broken for weeks!

Two things... I'm so glad I took so many pics of the work on my truck because now I know where the rotor was pointed.

I'm thankful that today I was talked down from being upset instead of made to feel like getting upset in the first place was the wrong thing. I respond better to calm voices, not raised voices with judgmental tones. As small as this may have been, I still feel its a step. I'm thankful for it all.

I am thankful for my Dad. He seems to be the only one who actually 'gets' me... and I wish I knew that years ago, when he would try to strengthen our bond, but i never thought too much about his attempts..
Perhaps had I listened to him and shared my feelings, he would have been able to guide me onto a different path!  My Dad is my hero! xx

my son is here and will drive me to work (i don't mind walking in the rain but this gives me the gift of time
 ) and my napping, wonder-filled grandson; the memories of playing with him yesterday, and tomorrow to look forward to....

I'm thankful for the mother/daughter date that I was able to go on with my sweet daughter tonight...that's pretty amazing that a 17 year old still want's to spend time with her mom! I am blessed!
