I currently mainly play a game called League of Legends...I gave one called runescape a try, but you pretty much have to pay to advance past a certain point...then of course that oh so popular WOW even if I did want to play that I couldn't afford it....but having seen others play it I don't find it visually appealing so have no interest.

Aside from that I've played console games here and there, in the last year bought a PS3 but haven't gotten any games for it...mostly just using it for netflix right now. Then of course there are a couple facebook games I find somewhat entertaining. Anyone else?

I'm currently playing Fallout: New Vegas, Civilization V, Mount and Blade: Warband, and Mass Effect. I used to play Halo: Reach on Xbox Live a lot, but not anymore since our subscription has expired and I don't feel like renewing it. For now I mostly stick to single player games where I have a lot of options with what I'm able to do.

I used to be a BIG fan of Everquest 2 and liked Star Wars: The Old Republic as well. But when both went F2P, they dumbed down the games so much they're almost unplayable. What were complicated, thinking games are now WoW type, gear-oriented games.

*sad face*

So lately I've been playing XBox 360 and really like Call of Duty: Ghosts, Call of Duty: Black Ops II (I said doody ), Aliens Versus Predator and ... wait for it ... Earth Defense Force 2025!

I play sims 3! Really fun game, most of the time making blue haired men, and drown them in the pool when I don't like them anymore. It does crash down soooo often. Mwehee

I loved playing Spore, where you basically play through the evolution - you can create your own ufo-like creature and then you will have colonies, tribes, cities, then you go out into space. My favourite stage was the tribe stage - every time I succeeded at chasing the enemy away, I made them dance around the fire. No matter which creature did that, it was funny.

My other favourite is Sims. I started with Sims 2, and now it's Sim 3. I've always liked these kinds of games where you can create something (or someone) on your own.

I have a moderate-sized collection of Steam games with a lot of indie, RPG, and strategy titles. It helps keep me sane. I've played a couple of Divinity titles this year along with The Binding of Isaac.

I was a League of Legends player for a few years, too, but those 40-minute matches wound up wearing on me after the few steady online friends I had couldn't fit our schedules together. I left just before the first major jungle revision, too, and when coming back meant relearning it all again it just wasn't appealing.

I was a Warcraft fan back in the day when it was a strategy game so WoW appeals to me, but I don't have anyone to play with and I'm not going to pay a monthly fee for solo play that other people can intrude on.

Well, I'm playing Skyrim, Starcraft. and Sims 4, but for MMORPGs I am now playing Landmark (Beta) which is the newest from the Everquest series of MMOs.

Hiya. Yeah, I used to play RS, for about 4 years. x_x You ain't missing much. You don't have to pay, really... I played for a long time before I chose to become a paying member. It's just optional features, but I guess it depends what you want from the game. I was quite happy to socialise with other players and collect stuff. There's lots to do, even in f2p. Well, there was, back when it was the bee's knees, but then a certain update turned it upside down. --__--

Aaanywho, WoW I've never tried and don't really want to, as I hear it's even more life-destroying than RS was.

Yup, I play games. I have a Steam account with over 200 games on it, most of which I never/rarely play. xD I WAS a pretty big gamer, but life goes on and my prioritiese have changed. At the moment, I'm into the modern Tomb Raider and Thief, and I'm into Deus Ex HR: Director's Cut. I was very into Warframe, but I guess I kinda ran it through, same with Terraria... I was very into Terraria.

As for consoles, I've played on (and owned) many different consoles, from the old NES to the XBOX 360, and the black and white Gameboy to the Sony PSP, but I stick with PC, these days. I saw the XBOX One, recently, and I must admit, I was quite impressed, so maybe one day I'll give that a go, but really, I spent a lot of money on this rig, so I might as well stick with it. xD

Consoles I've owned:

Sega Saturn (very briefly), Sega Megadrive (years), NES (years), Gameboy (many years), Gameboy Advanced (a couple of years maybe), PSP (fairly briefly), Playstation & PS One (years), Playstation 2 (many years), XBOX 360 (a few years), XBOX (very briefly), and I think that's it.

I've also played games on a number of PC-type systems:

Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98/SE, MS-DOS (not the OS itself, but alongside 95 to XP), Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, plus a couple of rarities: an Acorn machine and an old DAT tape Amstrad machine. Good times. Oh, and some Linux distros. (before SteamOS ) I owned all of those except Windows 3.1, sadly. I remember using 3.1 a lot back at primary school, though.

Oh yeah, I sometimes play Civ5, too; it's nice to really dig into my brain for some tactical gameplay, now and again. I do have NV and would like to play it, but that horrible bug where you slide or lurch forward is just absolutely agonising for me and so I just can't bare to play it... shame, because I love the FO world. FO3 was a huge favorite of mine on the 360 and I still have it on the PC.

I'm mostly into retro console gaming and never quite made the transition to PC gaming, it's not as intuitive or relaxing for me. I don't play nearly as much as I used to and the newest system I have is the PS2, though I had most that were made up till the Nintendo64.

I'm most interested in RPG's and turn based strategy games, like the Final Fantasy series, or Disgaia and Persona, and am currently playing FFV for PS1.

Ah, the classic FF series. Played 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10 2, and... that's it. xD Can't believe how many games they made.

I kinda want to give that one a go, is it compatible with PS3? I had I think sims 2 for my PC, but wont run on the computer I upgraded to guess too old for it.

I have quite a few people on my friends list on League, but no one I've really talked to a whole lot aside from my brother and our aquantince who introduced us to it....occasionally I get invited to a match, but yeah there are no real regular people I play with except me and my brother play matches together sometimes. Most of the time I just go to random team-mate selection.

I play videogames, mostly stuff from Nintendo. My favorites are the Pokemon and Zelda games. I would like to play this game called Animal Crossing sometime, and there's another cool looking one called Fantasy Life.

I'm a pretty big gamer. Right now I'm playing Harvest Moon: ANB and it's just so monotonous! And yet I keep playing! And I'll probably end up buying the next one when it comes out too. Well played, Natsume.

I've done that, too, but I don't feel like it's quite the same. League of Legends worked best for me as a team strategy game, and it's very hard to get a group of random people working together. Sometimes before the game even started we'd have arguments about who got to play what position, which is just silly when there's so much to do in any particular game.

I'm back on chess again, and I have a couple dedicated online friends for that. I'm also interested in speed chess, though I think there's an official name for it.

Maybe it's just because I grew up in the era where they were becoming "normal", but I don't think there's anything wrong with playing video games as an adult. I think it's how you handle them that counts. A six-year-old might not know when to stop, spend all their money on videogames, or think of it as more important than school. An adult knows its just recreation or hobby time with friends and takes care of business first.

That is why I am attempting to get at least decent at most positions...that I can do whatever i get. But probably best at support and top or mid lane with a few champions, getting jungling down kind of and I am still terrible at ADC and much better with AP/Defense champions than AD champions...lol assuming you still know what all the terminology means. But yeah I only know two other people I've met in person who play...and though I have built up a bit of a friends list on the game with people I only know from playing a match or two with usually there are only 1-3 other people online if that.

I do like chess, but don't really have anyone to play it with...and am probably a little rusty on what exactly all the rules are, though I'd pick them up again pretty quick.

IDK if you still like them when you're 40, I see no reason to quit...I've heard of/known people older than that who still like video games. I think the important thing is trying to balance it with other things...to where it does not interfere with other things that need doing. I myself get bored playing any game too long so don't see myself spending all my time on it.

i think the main problem is been female and were not supposed to play them at all. but i have all my life. also doesnt help that my brother encourages me and says dont be stupid when i say im too old. he also encourages me to play games he thinks are awesome

he also forgets that im unemployed and cant afford to buy ps4, new pc, new video card, new games when they come out etc. i bought an xbox 1 and had financial problems for the next 3 months actually i still am coz apparantly i owe my mam over £100

anyway i have plenty older ones to get through 1st...

Persona and FF are realy great. You can try Baldurs Gate Trilogy on PC, think you will like it.
