After the ruckus, I would rather not list names - but there are many I would love to meet for coffee!

Good post DocJohn

I enjoyed reading this thread.

Petunia.. your comment made me smile.. I would have never thought of what you said, but come to think of it, I too have coffee with everyone when sitten at puter.. lol.. what a lovely, unique lady you are! If you could have coffee with anyone on PC ...

Have to say Doc John's comment made me smile too.. "The guy nobody wanted coffee with on the first page or two! "

As I sit here smilen, thinking maybe that Doc John, for a shrink, is maybe A OK..

Off to brew more coffee...

If I had seen this thread earlier I would have invited Doc John. I have a huge respect for him and would love to see what he really thinks of me lol.

There are a ton of other people I'd like to invite also but being here in the middle of nowhere arkansas I know it will never happen.

I'd love to meet any of you and all of you but not all at once I have a problem with crowds.

I still think someone should organize a few parties to go on simultaniously in different parts of the country(ies) and people with cell phones that have speakers could conference with the other parties going on!! If you could have coffee with anyone on PC ...

It's been done!! If you could have coffee with anyone on PC ...

Doc, I haven't read this thread until today probably because of the reasons you mentioned. I've never been part of the "in crowd" either and I've learned to live with it.

When I first read the subject line, I thought about it, though. YOU If you could have coffee with anyone on PC ... are the first one that came to mind! If you could have coffee with anyone on PC ... After all, you're the HEART of this site! If you could have coffee with anyone on PC ...

I liked the thread, no trigger here (I do embrace my loner-ish-ness-?)... I wasn't "invited" but I did call shotgun (front seat with who ever is driving). And I still call shotgun. If you could have coffee with anyone on PC ...

Yea it's not about 'being invited' or 'not being invited' people.

It's just generating conversation about who we think might be interesting to meet ... and often we might be interested to meet someone we DON'T already know so well. So 'existing friends' shouldn't exactly be upset ya know?

It was just designed to provoke some discussion and some good vibes and maybe even make people think about who they might like to know a bit better on the site who they don't already, thru PMs or whatever.

If you could have coffee with anyone on PC ...
