The last week has been Beautiful!!! Temps in the high 70's low
80's beautiful clear nights...Just Gorgeous!!

Last 2 days I been preping outside for a vegetable garden and a few other plants such as annuals and perrenials.

Mostly interested in stuff to eat though, especially with the high price of food now adays not to mention everything else under the sun!!

Looking for a Tomatoe that yields a lot you know for
sauce, salads, and all around variety I guess. I used to grow
a certain type called "Beef steak" but haven't planted in awhile.

Anyone have any experience with any tomats that bear a lot???
Summer/Zuchini Squash is my next favorite!!!

I think this year for gardening is going to be great, up north here anyway. The days have been so picture perfect so far. I'm ready to plant now but waiting a few more days just incase of an unexpected frost????

Last year I was late planting but planted a Beefsteak, an Early Girl and a Roma and did fine with them. The Early Girl and Roma were the best. I bought a small hand grinder to do the Roma's in and try to make spaghetti sauce, LOL, but it was too long and hard and I didn't have the patience. Otherwise I had an "Italian"-themed garden, with onion sets, a sweet banana pepper, oregano, garlic chives, and parsley.

I also bought one of those hanging tomato trees from Gardener's Supply for my balcony that holds 3 "somethings" and planted 2 different types of cherry tomatoes and a cucumber plant and they all did more than wonderful!
