Well, I have decided that I can't deal with my emotions on my own anymore regarding mom's passing. They are taking over my life and it isn't fair to anyone. I am going to the behavioral health center this morning to see about finding someone to talk to. I can't wait for the psych that called two days in a row to cancel and then tell me that I have to wait til MARCH 12th.
Anyways, wish me luck cuz my nerves/anxiety is killing me!

Thanks WMD!

Well, I went. They gave me two numbers, one for meds and one for therapist. The meds place takes Aetna, but it is contracted or something like that?! Anyways, they wanted $150 from me and then after Aetna covers their part I would get a credit with them...wtf?! I only have that much in the bank as it is!? So that is out for right now.
The therapist is going to see me in two and a half hours so I will be doing that. I am still nervous, but just glad that I am going to be able to talk to someone.

Thanks guys/gals! I went to the T and she was great!! I had my BF come in with me and give her more insight than I could provide at the time because my anxiety was keeping me from talking much. I was able to calm down a bit towards the end as she was very comforting and kind.
I am going back to her next week and for the first time in a long time I feel hopeful!!!!!

I am really tired now because my anxiety was so high all day!

Thanks for everything you do and all of the suggestions.

It's ok Bebop, not everyone can think of everything all the time! scared, but going anyway

Thanks Clyde for the hugs and being proud of me.

Thanks Jazz for reminding me that it's ok to be afraid and nervous!
