i am heavier now than i have ever been... I am going on a diet.. my goal.....to lose 35 pounds..... yes that is a healthy amount for me... if you do the bmi index on me... i fall in the overweight section.. i am over my ideal weight for my height,... I am tired of my clothes not fitting....!!!!!!

i did the bmi thing this morning and it said i only need to lose like 10 pound but if i lose 35 i will be right where i should be and not be even close to over weight

I understand about the bmi thing. I go to Curves 5 days a week. Usually they would (try to) weigh and measure me once a month, but I have been refusing. My original bmi when the recorded it with some fancy machine was so over the top it almost scared me to starvation ...except .. it didn't happen.
I know that my bmi, and weight, and measurements for that matter .... wont matter ... until I feel good again .... and we all know that is hardly going to happen!

don't try to diet it, think of it as , a new eating habit.
Use a smaller plate and DON'T go back for seconds, drink lots of water with lemon, with the weather heating up, salads are good, and don't forget to walk Good luck

i walk and play outside alot with my kids.. baseball tag basketball... stuff like that ... my thing is my soda habit... i drink way too many.... i know i do..... i dont eat alot of sweets, but i like way too much to snack on salty things... like chips, sunflower seeds, pickles.... lol
i need to cut back on the soda and drink more water.. i cant gcut out soda all together because of the risk of a caffiene headache that normally turns into a migraine... that sucks huh..... thanks for the tips though
