AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!! AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGHHHH!!!!! @#@$%!!!!! ARGH!!!! #$%^&!!!!!!

I've been waiting for over TWO YEARS to get my wheelchair either fixed or replaced!!!! The rubber is falling off of the large tires and one small back wheel is flapping in the breeze!!!! The foot rest is halfway gone!!!! It's almost impossible to roll it up the loading ramps because what rubber is left has NO TREAD!!!

I heard from the company, SUPERIOR MOBILITY, yesterday giving me one more reason why I won't have my chair in a couple of weeks! They won't admit it, but they ordered the wrong one, starting with the TAR to Medi-Cal and Medicare!

I HAVE SOOOOOOOOO HAD IT!!!!!!!!

I WILL contact a REAL attorney on Monday and will get everything I can out of this company!! No more messing around with the Senior Legal Advisor! A POX ON THEIR HOUSE!!!!

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHH!!!!

I'm breathing, already! I'm still furious!!!

((((((((((((Septmorn)))))))))) I'm so sorry this is happening. I don't have any advice, but I hope you are able to get it resolved quickly. I don't blame you for being upset. It would make me feel like my needs were not important, if that happened to me.

Sept if there is anything i can do, make calls even or whatever, let me know.

This whole thing stinks. How can they let someone in a wheelchair go without? Like come on. I am angry with you( meaning, for you, not at you)

Quite by accident I found out the most valuable "member" of my team ended up being my attorney. Even though "quack" "quack" "quack" came to mind they actually made my transition to disability as painless as possible.

You should have handed them (Medicare, MediCal, TAR) the wheel chair with a note that said "walk a mile in my shoes". Perhaps then they would have understood the problem.

Have I got a deal for you but it is better put in an PM

I'm still planning on showing up in my delapidaded old chair tomorrow and demanding to see the highest manager there. I plan to show them the condition my chair is in, in graphic detail. Also, I want to tell them that it is mostly the fault of their company and all the screw-ups they've made in the last 4 yrs, total. What's going to make them open their eyes wide is the fact that I'm going to demand a chair just like the one they've said they've ordered for me and I want it in three days! They can fix their errors and their apathy on their own damn time!

I want to do this! I need to do this! My self-doubt creeps in and I wonder if I'll be able to stand my ground. Then I'm afraid I won't be able to control my temper. Maybe I won't even have the guts to load my chair, get in the van and get over to their place of business.

This is so totally out of control and so entirely ridiculous!! It's unbelievable, is what it is!

Since I've been having nightmares, loosing sleep and having anxiety attacks, I've decided, with my husband's help, to let an attorney handle this from now on. I'm sure other people would have taken this action a long time ago!

We may pay for the initial consultation and undoubtedly for the letter that will start the process going, but we are NOT going to pay lawyer's fees!

Additionally, if my husband or I suffer any harm or injury due to this chair, we will own as much of the company as is legally possible!

You think this will teach them to run their company a little bit better? They may at least think twice before they treat someone else the way they have treated me.

This decision has truly been like a heavy weight being lifted off my shoulders!

In just a little bit, I'm going to paint a sign to hang on the back of my chair that says:

THIS CHAIR
SERVICED AND MAINTAINED
BY
SUPERIOR MOBILITY
I'll take a picture and post it here.

Well done September!

It is so good to hear you are getting some support in this ordeal. This company has just scr_wed you around, royally. I hope this letter causes that company to get some immediate action happening on your behalf. By pushing back or ignoring your requests they are costing themselves some business here, no doubt.

When you take the picture of the back of your chair maybe you should post that picture somewhere noticeable.

It is completely disgusting that they have kept you waiting this long. It is evil and cold and damnable. I wish some judge would order them to get around for 6 months in an identical chair and then lets see how they like it.

It is enough of a challenge in life to need and use a wheelchair. Making it hellishly harder is sickening and cruel. Stupid people, stupid GREEDY people.

I'm real sorry you have had such a long ordeal over this and I'm glad you are getting legal help. You deserve it and always have.

INCREDIBLE!! Sometime last October - December, I turned in Superior Mobility into the Medi-Cal Fraud Division because I became aware that they had put my chair in for more repairs than it needed. At the time, it was a way for me to put on a little pressure hoping that it would get SM to move a little faster. I did not know if anything had come of it or not... until this morning. Apparently, they were just getting around to responding to my complaint, but just in time. Say what you want, but I know that it was God acting on my behalf. Just when I had my fill of putting up with these people, it happened!

I got a call this morning from the Fraud Division referencing my complaint. The gentleman said something in past tense form and I corrected him. We were on the phone for quite a while as in one way or the other, I would up repeating my story at least three times starting from two years ago till my call last night to Superior Mobility.

At the end of the conversation, he told me he was going to pay SM a visit, but didn't say when. However, he gave me his name and number and told me to call if I had more to add to the story. Around 1 PM, I got another call, this time from Superior Mobility. I was tempted to not answer but I knew I had to face the music if I was going to get my chair.

The General Manager, without any preamble, told me that I would be getting the appropriate chair for my weight and use, no later than the third week in July. I told him I was done waiting, reason #1 I was fed up, and reason #2, my chair was now unusable. He gave me their usual song and dance that the third week in July would be the very latest but that they were trying to expedite the delivery to their store. We'll see.

I see this as a victory! Although I still don't have my chair, I know that SM has a fire built under them.

I am working on the sign that I'm going to hang on the back of my chair. I still plan to call the Americans with Disabilities Association and get them involved as much as I can. I might even stage a small demonstration in a very public place to get the local newspaper to carry the story. I know that there are others that are going through the same thing I have. How? The VP of the company addmitted to me that the same ... ahem! ... broad that was handling my case had done the same thing to others. Wrong move when you mess with this tough old broad! LOL You'd think they would have learned after all the other agencies that have contacted them about my case. Maybe they didn't know I was acting on my own when I sic-ed those agencies on them. I get the feeling they think I'm stupid.

It amazes me that what I thought was the smallest complaint turned out to be the one with all the power. The story is still unfolding. It's certainly not over yet. I don't have the proper chair under my fat behind yet. LOL I've still got Superior Mobility in my cross hairs!!

Stay tuned, more to follow!

That's excellent news. It's amazing how fast companies can move when there's a little heat applied. way to go.
