Ry,
Just hang in there, we'll get through this, sorry, I forgot to ask, may I do this with you? Or just let you know I am walking along the same path, so you are not totally alone.
Love to you, Ryan.

I'm sorry this is getting to you so much Ry. [bold] Please know that having to take medicine has no reflection upon who you really are. [/bold] I do know how it seems to be connected... I think it's because taking a medicine, or having to take more of one, makes us focus on the reality of why we have to take it. We don't wish to face reality. We want to be fine and not need medicine, right?

I hope this story helps some... my elderly mother has, for years, shown disdain for having to take so many vitamin pills. She's 85 now... I told her, she can take vitamins now or not... and if she doesn't and doesn't stay healthy, she can then take pills because she's ill... and they cost more too. She quit complaining.

You aren't complaining... but having a normal reaction for someone with disordered thinking (like most of us here on PC)...

I care about how you are, please don't shut this site out because you are down... that's what the depression forum is for... just for that! (((hugs)))

Ryan,

You were doing so well, and sometimes we have slips. I think we notice the slips more once we have been doing so well so the slip seems even worse. You know you can get there because you have been there before....at least that is what my Pdoc tells me. Please don't let this period get you way down...you are strong & with help can pull yourself back up.

Take Care,
Debbie

Ryan,

Hi hun. I have missed you not being around. I'm sorry your feeling down. Leaving your job and moving to Texas is a big step. Perhaps change is making you feel a little down. It's ok, it's normal. Your a strong guy. Please pm me if you need to talk. Take care dear friend.

I don't know what's got me so down. I just am. I just exist whether I want to or not. I look in the mirror every morning and HATE everything I see. I go to bed when I get home from work hoping that it will all end soon... the pain... the sorrow... the hurt. It's too much to carry. I don't believe in anything anymore. I once thought life could be better. My AA sponsor is freaking out. I don't know what to tell him that will make him understand the hopelessness. And I know that all this garbage MUST pass soon cause I'm bipolar and the depression can't last but it's so intense this time. There's no end to the tears. They just keep flowing like a leaky faucet. I don't know how to express the intensity of these feelings. Thank you guys so much for all the support. It couldn't come at a better time.

Ry

Ryan -- this is brain chemistry -- have you talked to your doctor about a med adjustment?

I know how you feel - I had a meltdown last week.
