I have really been bothered lately by the plethora of "regretful jurors" now speaking out about their experience on the Michael Jackson case. Why oh why Now are they proclaiming that they felt he was guilty even though they voted to acquit? What possible good can it do to "let it all hang out" now? I find it scary that these seemingly ordinary folks would go through such an ordeal only to reveal that they didn't vote the way they felt they should have at the time. I realize that our justice system is based on evidence and facts....but if every instinct in a juror is telling them that someone is guilty, then shouldn't they say so and ask for more time for that "evidence gathering" to happen?
I mean...I know that they were tired of it all.....but why now? This is a cruel trick to play on society....sorry, but that's how I feel.....any feedback? |

i too feel that if they had a feeling that he was guilty then they should have spoke their minds at the time... not after they aquitted him...

didn't the news report some of them did try to get the others to look at more of the evidence? what I heard was they thought the ones that really wanted the innocent verdict were star struck and they would not listen or review the evidence.

I agree ... if I'm not mistaken I quickly caught that the juror is going to write a book about this.
If this is true does this mean that the juror now too is looking to make a profit or is there more to this as well? It is an absolute mockery to our system (not that the system isn't ridiculous already at times). But can you just imagine the victims for a moment? The child? Truly sad. Just pathetic really. I didn't pay too much attention to this case after I heard all of what was said once. I think that he's guilty of being immoral and some wrong doing but, to what extent I wasn't sure, but obviously there is just a strange coincidence that this problem keeps popping up and for the simple fact that he "payed for it to go away the first time". I don't know I think I'm angry most that if jurors are stepping forward now stating publicly that they feel he is absolutely guilty...I automatically think of the victim. Eva

It is part of our system today like it or not. I do not know why some did not follow their gut but given they are to follow evidance it may make a differance. That does not make it right for some times important evidance is thrown out for what ever reason they can find any more.
I always sided with victims side right or wrong just cuz I'm victim and have to say majority of times it is truth even with that percent that may abuse it. The eyes tell the story! Victims know. OOps maybe saying too much srry! Larks |
