Betrayal

I found out tonight that two people whom I've worked so hard to forgive have betrayed me even more than I realized. One is a close family member and one is such a close friend that everyone considers her family. I don't think I could stand to even look at them right now. I am so hurt I'm ... I don't even know how to describe it.

I also know "This too, shall pass.", but the knowledge of what they did to me and my reputation won't.

Oh January, betrayal is just such a horrible thing to have to experience. It hurts so much whether it passes on or not.

There is nothing I can say that will make the hurt less but my thoughts are with you. (((January)))

I have been there. It cuts. It makes me sick. I have just found out and it is my father who died over 10 years ago. The closer a person is I think it hurts worse. I thought he was a saint, my favorite person in the world, now this.I do not now how to deal , my Pdoc and T are trying to help. I just do not want him to have my life I am so eat up with all these emotions, and trying to heal. He can not win. Do not let them either. I plan on trying, I do not know how, maybe we can try to together! From the ashes of my old self.

Some times the best thing to do with BETRAYAL - is to see it FREE.... therefore YOU will be able to move on with your own life and interest (and) yet as I say these words to you I can literally still feel the bitter sweet pain of the betrayal in which you speak.... by my own husband, the man I once trusted above them ALL (200 %).

The past is NOT always the past.....

oh, have i been there, and honey i know you'll pick yourself up by the bootstraps and go on. you're amazing that way.

however, please remember to take time while you're feeling this hurt to comfort yourself and know that YOU didn't deserve it. we can't control others, but they still seem to touch us in one way or another, and i'm sorry.

comfort yourself right now, and allow us to. you are truly one of the most giving, beautiful people i've met.

What happened?

Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for your support and words of comfort. They mean so much. We can all cry together and heal together. I can always, always count on you.

I couldn't sleep last night, with all the thoughts and hurt swirling in me. When I did sleep, my dreams were full of the hurt and pain.

I can honestly say most people would confront them and explode on them. It solves nothing though. It really doesn't.

Sometimes forgiveness is just walking away and doing no harm in return. That's what I'm going to have to do again... Again!

I wish I had been healthy enough to leave West Virginia behind years ago as I had planned, but to quote Steinbeck, "The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.
