thanks everyone. i have been doing my research (duh?)(as in internet, calling specialists, etc.) and found a new med that really sounds promising. i heard from B this evening and he is taking a printout about it to the doctor.....trying something new doesn't scare him. so, fingers crossed and we'll see what the doctor says.

it's the not knowing that gets ya. i just want to know what he has to do next. i'm not patient enough.

.....patience while sitting on pins and needles has never been my strong point either..... gouz guyz are in my thoughts.... keep breathing.

today is the day. pins and needles are all over me. my body is one big empty hole. i just cannot believe that this is happening to us. he is special in a way that i haven't experienced but once before. unconditional and non-judgmental acceptance of me. crazy and weird me.

guys.........the specialist became ill.....moved appt to sept 17......... bill is desperately seeking another doctor, as we speak............pray hard. i'm leaving for oklahoma. will be offline. robert who owed me a little money dug it up and i have gas money to get there.......and i know that i can get back.

don't forget sky's birthday friday......we will have virtual party!

i found out that the specialist had a really bad heart attack. i haven't heard back whether or not he could find someone to take him in quicker. this really is frustrating and i feel so sorry for the doctor.

i am going to be able to make it to Oklahoma tomorrow. will stay with Colleen. my granddaughter, aged 7, is going with me.

i wish phone would ring. or email would come. from WV.

more "positive news" is that i applied for a job with the school system today and the background check is very thorough. i was extremely curious about it. they call ALL of your references and check backwards through your driving records, etc. since i don't have a criminal record, that i know of
, that will be fine.

it took most of the day to finish the psychological testing. i am very impressed because the test directly related to children, anger, frustration, impatience, safety, etc. AND i can walk to the job. i hope i haven't already typed this somewhere. i am so tired and wrung out that my mind seems to be nowhere nearby.

if i worked in Austin, psych hospital, the extra pay would be pretty much eaten up by gasoline ($3.25) and wear on my truck. i thought long and hard and decided to try this. plus, the commute would take 35 minutes in. so, i think i'm making my life easier, instead of harder...like i usually do. it also occurred to me that working at the school will help me integrate myself into the community in a more solid fashion. instead of hit and run meetings with people here and there. and i do want a place in the community.(i'm sure that there are "more" here than just me.... )

bill is living with his mother now.......he feels so bad that staying at his house is out. i hope to fly out on friday evening. it is not looking good. he had a good day and we got really excited (as excited as we could get over that) and then boom. his bloodwork is not good.

we're doing the testing in case we are a match for a kidney. his entire family has the high cholesterol and no one can donate.

i talked to my doctor in Oklahoma and his opinion was that i am healthy enough for that.....even with the risk of my bloodwork. he didn't think that it would cause any problems for bill. hopefully, it won't come to that, but i will do it. the university doctors would make the final decision on my donating. his insurance is paying for all of the tests, etc. xoxoxo pat

I'm thinking about both of you.

i'm packing right now. arranging for pet care and such. i'm scared. he's lost 27 lbs. and he was slim.............he told me to be prepared for how he looks. i'll be offline probably the entire time i'm gone. the flight is tomorrow evening. and i don't know how long i'll stay. my neighbors are handling things here for me. thanks for all the good vibes.....xoxo pat
