i still don't have any earthly idea whether i'm right or not...
i have trouble with PM's as 'behind the scenes' activity that gets me feeling all paranoid...

but i'm sorry you aren't feeling so good.

i'd say i'd do more... but might be at the risk of a block unfortunately. i am sorry. i'd do something if i could...

* Limit your direct discussion of politics and religion, as people usually hold pretty strong opinions about these topics

Can somebody explain to me (in PM) EXACTLY what the issue is? I'm getting confused about all of the indirect references and implications.

I'd like to help either explain (if there is confusion) or see if I can help (if there are complaints) but it's unclear what the discontentment is all about. I apologize if it should be obvious -- I haven't been online as much as I'd like to be lately, and it's very likely I've missed something.

I'll be on and offline throughout today and tomorrow so I promise to reply to anyone who PMs me, even though I might not do so immediately. Confidentiality assured, btw.

Please forgive me, my dearest friend! I was reading through posts, against my better judgement, and I just read yours asking that we keep it on topic. I'm so sorry!

I am sorry that you are not feeling ok Sky.

I feel so sad and wary when there is discord, as there is bound to be from time to time. It has also made me realise that I have become quite dependent on this place and I don't know if that is a good or bad thing. All I know is that I really enjoy being a part of this community.

Please stay safe.

Hi (((Sky))):

Can't really say that I know what is goin' on, but I know I don't like to see you or anyone not feeling 'OK'!

I've really been working on the second 'agreement' (from the Dr. Burns book) about not taking things personally coupled with the concept that what others say and do is usually 99.0 % their 'stuff', and it seems to be helping.

Don't know if that can provide any comfort, but thought I'd log in and offer it. Not feeling "ok" ???? Post here with me!

With warmest regards,

Peanutty

Would it be considered hijacking if I say I'm feeling much better? Things seem to be calming down... or maybe I've just been hiding in Social. Sometimes a distraction works as well if not better than commiserating. Not feeling "ok" ???? Post here with me!

Hugs to all that still aren't feeling better! Not feeling "ok" ???? Post here with me!

Argh. I'm still doing OK, but I'm irritated with my daughter.

I have a date tonight. She's know about it for two days. She agreed to watch the dog for me. I'm even paying her since doggy day care isn't open at night. Three hours before I'm supposed to leave, she comes in here and whines at me "Mommmm, can you take Cinder with you? It's a pain in the butt to watch her."

Oh, OK, it's a pain in the butt to watch her while you stay at home and watch TV and talk on the phone for hours at a time, but it's NOT a pain in the butt for me to drag her on a date in which we're not going some place that I could take her with me.

Not feeling "ok" ???? Post here with me! Selfish little beotch. She's almost never home now. When she's supposed to be visiting her dad on her few days over there every month, she blows him off to disappear with friends. She's always doing whatever SHE wants to do, whether it's what we want or not. She even blew off a family vacation a few weeks ago. I ask her to do something for me for a couple of hours, and she *****es about it after she agreed to do it.

Man I'm pissed. Not feeling "ok" ???? Post here with me!

BTW, she IS watching the dog. It doesn't matter that my date has 3 dogs of his own and part of getting together is going to involve getting rid of their loose undercoat fur. His dogs are OK being left alone, mine is not. If I left her at his place with his dogs while we go swimming afterwards, every shoe and piece of paper/book would be destroyed and his carpets would have been used to relieve herself.

How about investing in a "home Kennel" they are basically cages but with about 4-6 feet of space and has a tray that you can put cat litter or saw dust stuff on it for absorbing and "burying" waste. it also has adjustable shelves where you can set a shelf for bedding. It can be indoor or out door and you can put inside any acceptable chewing materials and toys. they are also adjustable for growth by connecting more than one kennel together. I did this when I had a black lab german shepard mix. it helped big time in potty training and chewing training and so on. when I was home the kennel door stayed open so Bay could go in and out playing and enjoying it and getting a feel for it that, that kennel was his own special area. when I had to leave the house he had no problems with staying in there and playing with his toys and so on. The first week I used treats to get him used to a new item being in the house and his but after that everything went great.

Not feeling "ok" ???? Post here with me!

((((hugs)))) The site does have it's ebbs and flows... in both good feelings and in upset. Hopefully it will calm back down now, with the help of moderators working to assist those members having problems.

I don't mind your giving a brief background as to why you aren't feeling ok...and also your feeling ok posts are welcomed! But please, if you wish to directly address another's post, do so in another thread, or pm OK? I don't want the thread to bog down.
