About an hour ago, someone rang all the doorbells in our small building. It turned out to be the power company coming to read the meters. Well, when i went to see who it is, in my PAJAMAS with HAIR EVERYWHERE, didn't I not realize the doorknob was locked and i pulled the door shut behind me.
 As I turned around to go back inside, my stomach sank as I knew my landlords weren't home and... bam, the door was locked. I have no idea why but I tried jiggling the doorknob and pushing the door, as if it were going to fix the problem.  Luckily the lady above me came down because they rang her doorbell too, and we spoke breifly and I told her I had locked myself out and explained. She invited me into her apartment, gave me a glass of pop and we watched soap operas and called my landlord's cell. He came all the way from work to let me in again. Boy I felt like a royal turd  The funny thing is I was just getting bored sitting here thinking i wish I had more to do in this apartment, well after that ordeal Im just glad Im IN the apartment.

Hey, look at it this way...at least you had JAMMIES on, you could have been caught out of the apartment in only a towel

You poor baby!!! How fortunate you were that you have a kind neighbor. Things happen for a reason! I'll bet it was a whole lot better being with her than sitting alone in your apartment! Kind manager, too! All's well that ends well.
