Thanks to all of you for your advice and concern. I took your advice about asking for help and when my psychiatrist didn't respond to my e-mails I went to his office and waited that day until he could fit me in. He admitted me and I have been in the hospital for the past 2 weeks. He did a major drug overhaul and I am feeling better although still mildly depressed and quite fatigued.

I now have another issue to deal with involving my teen son but I will post that in another thread.

Hi Yoda.... I'm so glad to hear you finally got some help and are beginning to recover from where you were at.

Wishing you well and hope your new meds continue to help you see improvements.

Take good care of you Yoda.....

When my head use to get that messed up I'd throw a psychological hand grenade in and start over. Maybe you could do the same with your house/life; find homes for your animals (or ask the SPCA for help) and a counselor/help for your son then move to a new, small place alone and start again away from the vermin and some of the unintentional problems. I would think would especially be effective if the house is where your bf died. Get to somewhere that doesn't have as much baggage/"ghosts" and is smaller so upkeep won't take as much effort.
