It sounds like you are disconnected from your feelings. You mention a trip with your father. Is that stirring up feelings?

Hey Doh, thanks for replying.

The trip/ holiday isn't stirring up any feelings. It doesn't feel like it's going to happen, therefore there is no reason to look forward to it or feel excited about it. I do know I am feeling vaguely reluctant about going. Mainly because I know we are going hiking every day and I am not particularly fit. And I am worried about the food. But other than than it doesn't feel like I'll actually be going. I don't really think I'm disconnected to my feelings. Usually I feel too much - eg I tend to get upset easily, feel hurt, etc. So idk really.

her card says shes a psychotherapist and counsellor. i guess maybe thats it. we just call everyone a 'counsellor'. could just be a cultural thing. her qualifications are good i know that anyway and ive been seeing her over a year. plus we are working on the source of problems. so i guess you guys probably would call her a therapist.
