I just got back from a weekend away and saw your post. I for one believe you are brave and did what was best for the children. I am glad they are in a good home and more glad that you are so much a part of their lives as they need mom. I am glad you shared and no I do not think it reason to hate you. I have not read the other responses but here is mine. I adopted a child out of foster care and I was a long term foster parent. Thank you for being unselfish enough to ask for help with your children.

Ok I know this will sound silly and trivial....but have you seen that new Disney movie - Meet the Robinsons?
If not, watch it. If so, watch it again. It really hit me on the whole deal of "letting it go". Especially when the kid doesn't want to go back.... And even if you don't agree with the message, the old dude with the fake teeth is pretty funny! |
