They're still here - holed up in an office. They've been asking me questions and stuff. And me being the 'receptionist' I might know more than I really do. I tried to call my shrink but he wont talk to me cuz he's with a patient. Hope he calls back soon. Am freaking out.

((((((((SS))))))))))

I think I would be freaking out too. If you don't know what's going on, you must be questioning what it is that's bringing the cops to look for something there. But if you aren't involved, it will be ok. Especially if you do what they ask you to do, and don't hide anything or look like you are if you can help it. Let us know what happens! You have support here.

They're gone now. Soon after, the guy they're after called. I didn't want to talk to him over the phone about it. This guy is the smoker. They (cops) will be in touch.

The smoker called later on in the afternoon asking me about the cops - how long they were here, what they asked me, what they wanted, did they take anything from his office, etc. and he asked me to fax him the search warrant, and the name and number of the cop.

I know I shouldnt feel like this, but I'm still anxious. I dont like getting 'grilled' . I don't know if what i said would harm anyone - get anyone in trouble. Feel like i betrayed smoker for talking to the cops and when i talk to the smoker, feel like im aiding a criminal. Oh God, the cops are here with a search warrant

You have to think of yourself and your safety first. After that, do the best you can do, without telling any lies. Try to NOT answer yes or no (sorry, I disagree with your T, sigh.) Try to give information that is edited for safety, and peace of mind. IF you are ever summoned for a depostion, THEN you can share the whole truth, but only if they ask it! Never offer more info than they ask for.

Thanks sky. It was better - except for the weather. Oh God, the cops are here with a search warrant

The cold temp and ice broke my windshield. I took it over to the dealer this morning and they were closed for the holidays, so I'm stranded. Don't mention taking the bus - it's slower than walking.

Another person who's in trouble with the cops happens to be an executive with in the government in another city. That's why the state cops and not the local cops. The company that I work for did some work for that city - with the exec. as the contact, and that's who we sent our reports, invoice, etc. to. *sigh*

Oh God, the cops are here with a search warrantsigh. sorry ss... Windshields can be expensive too! And ya gotta have 'em. Mine got weird greasy driving back from the service tonight, I had to pull over on a side street, with my mother in the car, to go into the trunk and find the paper towels... sheesh... have NO idea what caused this. But 'at least' it wasn't broken...

Glad your windshield's ok. Will you have it checked out to see why it got greasy?

I don't 'think' getting my windshield fixed is going to cost me, cuz both the outer and inner glass is smooth, so it's cracking in between. This means that it's the manufacturer or someone else's fault (bad quality), not my fault. I'm gonna ask them to check all the windows to make sure it won't happen somewhere else. Don't know how long it's going to take for them to fix it.

sheesh. I don't know that they can figure out if the other windows will do the same thing and I fear they will tell you to wait til it happens!

well, there are a few scenarios on mine, none of which I have checked out yet: the service center accidently put oil in the windshield washer (I hadn't used it since, because I have rain-x on the windows.); the front from the northwest brought yucky stuff in the mist; the salt sea air coupled with the cooler temperature; or any combo of the above! (nw front, sea salt, rain-x, mist, cooler temp)

Good thing there wasn't much traffic, as I could NOT see well and haven't had that trouble since driving in driving sleet in MO!

What kind of vehicle and how old?Oh God, the cops are here with a search warrant

Hopefully someone will be able to figure out how the grease got there and that it wont cost you anything.

My car is a 2005 Toyota Corolla. Got it in July. At least I know I'll get good service. Considering how new it is. Oh God, the cops are here with a search warrant

As if the broken windshield of my car is not enough, I was going to take my mom's van to work tomorrow. She doesn't have to babysit so she won't need the van.

Today, just a few minutes ago, mom and i were going to do some shopping. We took the van out of the garage and dad thought he would put in some window washer fluid. Unfortuantely, the cable/spring that connected the lever that you pull from in the car to the hood of the car broke. Now the hood won't close properly, it's not locked, and shakes when the van moves.

Dad blames everyone but himself. Not even the fact that things happen. He said if it weren't for us going out, he wouldn't be putting in the washer fluid. Well, it was his idea and he was the one who pulled the lever.

He seem to think I'm jinxed or something cuz it was my car, and i was in the driver seat in the van when the cable broke.
Feeling anxious, scared (cops), then worried, angry (cars), and more anxiety cuz of the dinners just before the weekend.

So far, it has been one hell of a rotten week! I'm ready to lose it and tempting to 'do' something bad.

No, SS you must think about what good can happen! I firmly believe that we can pull something good into our lives, or at the very least stop some of the life incidents... of course, it's more difficult when we have other ppl in our lives! LOLOh God, the cops are here with a search warrant
