(((((CandyBear))))

I hear you!!!

"Thinking" about what one is going to say before they speak... ahhh.... it's music to my ears.... and a truly great message!!!!

Think first, before you leap, they used to say.

We need to hear these pearls of wisdom like when we were kids... and your teacher had it on a plaque on her desk, and your boss did also.

With hope that we get back to helping each other out here, in the real world, with true reason.

Peace and Love,
Night

Thanks for the reminder!

Dear Candy Bear

AAAA was right when stating that words can hurt like a fist. I'm sorry you got scarred.

I grew up learning to keep my trap shut for fear of reprisals. I had no mouth. No opinion allowed. 10 years ago I started to stutter at the age of 37. Now people finish my sentences off. Or tell others how I am feeling as if I am invisible. One person asked me if it was hard to speak as it was really hard for them to hear. Grrrrr.

I'm so glad you are here at PC and helping to provide a safe environment for healing. Even to just say what we think...... and actually be heard.

Thank you.

What an amazing collection of wisdom in all your replies. Thank you for that, and for all the affirmations. It helps more than you know.

The Hummingbird weighs less than a cent and travels about 25 mile a day., so it is interesting how they get from Mexico and Central America to the north shore of the Gulf of Mexico. It is 500 miles from the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula to Louisiana across open water.

These miniature birds flap their wings at 75 beats a second and use up so much energy that they need to feed about every 15 minutes to keep up their energy. There are no nectar sources and no resting place in the Gulf for them to make their way across open water. However, since most make it to the other side, 20 days awake, no eating, working to survive, so can you and me.
