What do you mean by asking this question? I am so sorry you lost your job. I hope your boyfriend is being supportive.

Galaxygal - less than 1000 calories per day plus all that exercise may be putting your body in "starvation mode" - have you tried eating enough healthy food to not be irritable/hungry all the time? Note, I am NOT a doctor or dietician and those people would have better, more reliable answers...

BF is being a poop-head.
He is doing that thing (and we've had someone do it).
Oh eat this, I got it for you...and then later...why do you eat all of that junk food.
I think that he does it on purpose

Have you had people like that around you?

Thank you for your reply! I thought about the possibility that I was putting my body into starvation mode, but I have been eating all-around balanced meals though I wish they made me feel full. Part of my binging problem is that I don't feel full and keep eating so I am trying to ignore the empty feeling so I don't overreact with binging.

Also, 3 years ago when I was working with a fitness trainer I lost weight consuming 1000 calories per day. I think it's my metabolism and the only way to jump start that is by exercising. I just want to lose weight like I did 3 years ago but I feel 10 years older.

[QUOTE=unicornlady;4256503]the Seroquel munchies are back. Must...eat...everything...in...sight...[/QUOTE

I took Seroquel for 2 years and put on 20 lbs and am now trying to lose that 20 lbs now that I have the desire to work out. Seroquel killed my ambition.
Unfortunately, I don't have any good advise on how to fight back the Seroquel munchies except to eat spicy foods so you will eat less if your stomach can handle it

My husband has a way of sabotaging my diet efforts. He will tell me that I need to loose weight and then suggest that we go out for Mexican food - my favorite and it's hard to order something low cal. I hate to say it, but I was doing better with diet and exercise while he was gone for 2 weeks. I just have to push myself to do better when I am around him. That's sounds awful doesn't it

Hi Everyone.........................Anyone, I'm here now too!! Hope you're all holding up, difficult as it may be. You know, when I was young I had ED's, but I promised myself that when I got to the age of 40 that's it!! Absolutely NO MORE DIETING, which meant no more severe fasting, no more mega binge outs, no more bulimia and no more compulsive eating!! BLISS!! But, you may already know the answer here???
Yurp, I'm now 56 and STILL doing the same things, I mean all of the same things. The one big problem now is that I'm so much older and it all get much harder. I've damaged myself physically and every day there's some disease or pain causing me to restrict myself. Take this as a warning if you are young and going to great lengths to get that ''size zero'', it'll kill you, at best make you look physically older before your time!! LOL HA HA, it's your Granny speaking here!!

Sat down with bf last night and made it very clear that I need help
No more buying treats and then chastising me for eating them
We plan meals for the week and stick to it
I told him that I can't do it without him
Let's see what comes of it

The lyrics describe my life
So touching

I was feeling pretty good about myself which I don't usually...I've gained a significant amount of weight in the last two years (and I already had trouble feeling good about my weight) and cannot take more than 3-5 lbs off no matter what I try. Anyway, I was feeling pretty good about myself. Then I decided to be attracted to this guy in spite of the fact that I know it never goes anywhere (it really never, ever does; they're never interested). And I'm at the point where I'm pretty sure he's, indeed, not interested. And now I feel disgusting

If he cannot see the beauty in you, he does not deserve you.
Looks are fleeting, brains and compassion last a lifetime.
You deserve better than that

I've been trying to change some bad eating habits
When I eat better, I feel physically stronger

Does anyone else ever feel that?

Yep I am checked in and all ready to share
my 15 year old cat might have to be put down.
Right now, she is the only thing in my life that I had 10 years ago
I don't want to be here without her

I'm so sorry. I hope she's still OK for awhile? It's horrible having to say goodbye. Lots of hugs.

I said goodbye to my cat yesterday.
It was her time, and letting her go was what was best for her
My other cats are mourning her
I am mourning with them

Dear Standup2me. I'm so sorry to have read you've had to say goodbye to your best friend, there's never the ''right''time or an ''easy'' way but rest assured we are thinking of you. Of course you may well dream about your friend and you may hear her, for she'll never be far away in spitit. XXXXXXXXXX
Thanks for this!

Oh no, that's a horrible feeling, thinking you can't control the urge to binge. For those of us who binge, we live in constant fear of it. Suddenly and within a split second the urge to eat is uncontrollable and that's what's frightening ~ the feeling of loss of control. Perhaps coming here may delay a binge so it's worth doing.
