Thanks guys

StandUp2Me, I'm not sure yet. I think I'll try to use the 5lb weights and just lift my arms all the way up and then down maybe 90-100 times. I know that's not much at all but it's a start

The standard rep is is between 8-12 then set the weights down, that's one set. The average set is between 3-5. If you do 90 to one hundred lifts you are going to hurt too much and not do them again. So lift them straight up ten times put them down then do that 2-4 times more to build endurance. You can hold them to the side palm forward and bend from the elbow to the shoulder in a set too.

There's lots of places to Google weightlifting for dummies. I'm just bad at the follow though tho. I have 3lb and 5lb weights that collect dust for me! . I should be doing this as its good for strengthening bones and I am losing bone mass.

Started fresh today, so far I'm doing good. I started making myself a cup of hot tea every time I want to binge on stuff. (without milk or sugar so it's 0 calories)

Slowly killing myself with junk food, and way too big portions
Why am I doing this?
I think that maybe somewhere inside I hate myself
But my conscience brain does not accept that
Maybe I am in denial?
Maybe I am self-harming?
Maybe I just don't care?
If so, then why do I horde these thoughts?
What is wrong with me?

It's my 3rd day eating healthier, I have already lost some weight. Hopefully I can keep this up. A tip I got from someone in another part of the forum was to drink a lot of fluids throughout the day, like coffee and tea without any sugar so it's zero calories, so instead of grabbing something to eat when I'm craving I make myself a nice cup of tea. I'm going to get some peppermint flavored tea because that's supposed to help suppress appetite.

I even got some exercise in today!

I never found that very helpful, it just reinforced how hopeless it was for me to try. Hope it works for you.

I had beef jerky (protein) and tea for breakfast hope to have a salad for lunch....its evenings that are a problem for me.

I'm thinking of heating up the frozen pizza. I'm so hungry constantly and I want to order a ton of junk food.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the constant hunger. Back when weight wasn't a problem it seems like I was rarely hungry.

I put on summer pants today
I saw a huge thing right behind me
It scared me and I tried to run away
It stayed right behind me
...and then I realized that it was my butt

I bought a word search book today and started doing some puzzles in it, it's very relaxing and takes my mind off food for awhile
