Here I go again. The insomnia has kicked in and the thoughts don't stop. I just want to get this stuff out of my head! I am so worn down from the battle. I've used every item on my coping skills list and I'm still scared and anxious. I really hate this. I want a fresh start. I want to be someone else. Someone who doesn't have all this sh** breaking me apart. It's too late to call my T and my family is asleep. When will this get better?

Ok, I don't know if I can say this, I take clonazapam at night and I calm down and sleep. I take it only if I get an anxiety attack during the day. I know I would not sleep without it as I get horrible nightmares and flash backs in my sleep. The other thing that I do is I use heat to help relax me. I take the blow dryer and blow the hot air on my feet and legs and even face until is feel relaxed and that really helps. I also have used a heating pad to help relax me. I have done this ever since I was little, real little and then I found out many years later that the use of heat and cooling down relaxes the body. Well, I was way ahead of my time. I have only used the clonazapam since my most recent traumatic experience. So try the heat first.

Oh, Thomas, that is so sad. I will pray for you, there will be a better tomarrow in your future. Keep trying, and know that you are not alone
Thomas.
Night time is always hard for me too. Try this, when you go to bed close your eyes and try to think of letting your mind take you on a special trip to happiness. Every night tell your brain to find something fun to do while you are sleeping. As you lay there count backwards from 100 and then when you get to 20 tell yourself deeper in rest for each number you go back then at 10 say in your mind I am very tired, I am ready to rest, I am going to nice places in my sleep, I am going deeper and to those nice places. I am ready to rest my brain is going to find pleasure while I rest.

This is from an old course I took years ago called some sort of mind control and how to help yourself control your brain and program it for rest, happiness, success etc. It does work well.

Try it, it is almost like self hypnosis. Remember it is YOUR BRAIN Thomas.
I does not belong to any one who has harmed you.
