I have been so busy lately that I have been forgetting to take my meds at my regular time. I usually take them at 11 am. But today I didnt remember until 8:15 pm and then I took it and the last couple of days I havent remembered until about 4-5 pm.

Will this cause problems with its effect? I'm sorry if that is a stupid question. Should I have skipped todays dose since I forgot until so late and just taken it tomorrow. I figured I should take instead of not taking it. Forgetting to take my meds

YES.... it could cause a problem with its effectiveness, since it is probably a 24 hour release medicine.

When I see my doctor and things are not going well with me - he always ask me if I am taking my medicine on schedule and every day? - for he says he cannot help if I do not do my part with the medicine he gives me.

I know I should take it on schedule. I have just been so busy it has slipped my mind. I have always been real good about it until this last week or so.

Jen...I was going to say what pat said...check with the print-out on your med...there could be a difference depending on the med. I take a gazillion meds so I keep a notebook to write down the med and time I take each one so I know I've taken all of them. I don't always take them at the exact same time, though. Depending on when I get up, my morning meds may be taken at 6 am or 10 am. So far, no bad reaction from it. Forgetting to take my meds
