I have been off of my meds for three days because I moved and temporarly lost them in a box. (Lithium, lamictal) Do I need to restart them at a low dose and build back up.

I would consult your doctor on that, especially with the Lamictal....you know the whole rash thing.

Stopped meds need to start how
Hey twirls! It's only been three days, but I would go back on my regular dose and let it build back up in your system.
I don't think you have to start over again. You haven't been off of them that long. BUT.......DO NOT TAKE THE MISSED DOSES that you've lacked for three days. Just start up on the prescribed dose and let it take over. You will start to feel the difference by the end of the day. It is imparitive that you NOT try and make up for those lost days. I say this because that's what people sometimes do when they miss a dose.......they think they have to make up for the missed ones. AGAIN I SAY............DO NOT DO THAT!!!!
Good luck and feel better soon.

Agreed...double check with pharmist or pdoc...generally meds take a few days to get out of your system anyways...generally about 4-5 days for me...
