My pdoc told me to stop symbyax cold-turkey and start on 150 Wellbutrin XL. I was taking symbyax 6/50 and it was doing nothing but making me sleep all day. I stopped the symbyax 2 days ago and now I am having such extreme anxiety that I just go around moaning constantly. My doc says there should be no withdrawal problems and just stick with the program. Anyone had any experience with getting off Symbyax?

Hi BK68

Yes, I took Symbyax 12/50 until August of this year. The Medicare drug plan wouldn't pay for it anymore. It was $498 a month I had no choice but to go cold turkey. There was some minimal anxiety on withdrawing so quicky, however, that was better than the zombie feeling.

Good luck!
