Has anyone here actually had their pdoc slowly take you off of your meds (for whatever reason), and how did you feel afterward? I'd like to see positive (if possible) answers only, please :-)

cat eye, i took myself off of a BUNCH of meds...on my own. it was the best move that i'd ever made. of course, i was being medicated for a dx that i didn't have...that's another post question about quitting the pillbox

anyhow, it was one of the best moves in my life. i post this hesitantly, because there are many who NEED their meds and shouldn't attempt this. i didn't need the meds that i was on. i was overmedicated...even for the dx that was wrong.
