T comes home Sunday night but my appointment isn't until next Friday. Boo.

I think ya gotta take a break once in a while, like just to let your mind muscles recuperate. You have been sounding great, it seems you have been passing the time well and thoughtfully. You are such a caring and cared for presence here.

Ya know, yesterday, on my way to my apartment pool, there was a car in the parking garage left its lights on. I trudged around till I found out whose it was (been here 20 years so I know who to talk to after hours), telling T this morning, I want this place (my apt) to be like this - I realize NOW I want it to be like PC - where we care about each other. And you Cats were one of the first people here who taught me that.

T comes home tomorrow night!! She has done a great job of texting me while she has been away as well.

She will be home in less than 24hrs now!!

why? She is a psychiatrist! I'm sure she can afford a cab. I'm sure she has her own vehicle. I'm sure she has other people in her life. This makes no sense...

So she's free of breaking every possibile boundary when it's about her, but at the same time she jumps at your neck for calling her once too many. Wow.

Wondering how long you'll still accept this whole situation without even trying to confront her.

Challenge - I think this might be starting to push the boundaries of reality. This story is getting goofier by the minute. What would it mean if your therapist really wanted you to pick her up? Do you want the close relationship or are you trying to get attention from others? I don't think it makes you a bad person to have these sorts of desires, but it's important to look at why you have these sorts of feelings.

Cats's T has questionable behavior. Sure. But can anyone here really counsel Cats to get another therapist? Cats doesn't want another therapist; she came here for help in understanding her T's behavior and communications. She has reached out to her old therapist for consultation. That old therapist is in the best position to counsel her considering her knows Cats, her therapist, and the profession. I personally don't think it serves Cats well for us to instruct her to get a new therapist or attack her therapist.

I don't think it's attacking her therapist to point out that her therapist's questionable behavior, as described by Cats, amounts to being paid to use and abuse Cats. When men get paid to use and abuse vulnerable women as part of their "profession" we have a name for them. As far as I'm concerned, this is the emotional equivalent.

Yes, I am being completely honest. I have no reason not to be.

If people would prefer, I will stop posting about my issues with my therapist.

I don't understand why Cats is being questioned here. We know that therapists engage in sexual relationships with their clients all the time. What is so hard to believe about working out together, eating meals together, and chauffeuring to the airport? They have a friendship or something of the sorts.
