I so wish my T would e-mail me. Trying not to spiral out with "I asked for too much". I guess even if I asked for too much he will still love and accept me. But still. Blah.
Thanks for this!

Isn't he on vacation? Or am I thinking of somebody else? If he's on vacation, he may not even be checking his email very regularly.

Feeling so weird. No T, my best friend is moving away, and that boy from this week never called back. So torn between wanting to fix everything and feel how it's "supposed" to feel.. happy, emotional, etc...... and just letting it be. Being normal is so so so much pressure.

Well, I always thought you were female but not all avatars are very revealing, so now I'm wondering how many of us are actually not the gender that some of us think we are! Just for the record, I'm female, but I think I pointed that out some months ago when someone shortened my name to "Pecker."

(Pause)
Me: "Doc, why are you banging your head against the arm of your chair?"
Doc: "Because I'm not close enough to a wall."

It's official. I can even make therapists crazy.

I had a great day! Was able to catch up on some much needed sleep. Worked on some things for school. Now I have my granddaughter who is currently playing in the bathtub. I am sure we will be off to "Littlest Pet Shop" wonderland once she gets out.

I cherish days when I feel this happy.
Thanks for this!

Doing ok today. Still having some urges to cut. Really working hard to push away the emotions today.

Spent the day with family and friends, which for once turned out well.

Amen to that!

This is my first attempt to bring a quote to my reply. I might not do this right.
The words above are not mine; they are from a post above. The last sentence really resonated with me.

He is. And you're right. I left a voice mail too, which he probably did get, but he is on VACATION, and will respond when he wants to/can.

I absolutely respect and appreciate his good self-care, because I think it's part of why he is able to be such a good and giving T. AND I so would like a response.

Both.

I thought about wanting to share with my T yesterday but then I thought about how my Mom didn't even know one of my daughters and I cried. Maybe it's more transference than I thought. But I miss my T too. I finally see her Wednesday but it seems far away.

Well, my T called me yesterday(I had left a message for her on Fri.) to talk about my concerns about the two of us being members of the same professional group. My fears about her getting angry were washed away and I am able to see that most people are not going to shut down on me like my father did. Thanks, T!

Now that I am done with my program in school, I made a big stack of textbooks I would like to sell. We had to spend so much money on textbooks! I am going to open a storefront on Amazon and give that a whirl. Today I also want to take some other books to the used bookstore to see if they will give me any money for them. I have so much stuff around the house I would like to thin out, but sometimes get short circuited from doing that. If I just do a little at a time, it won't seem like such a big and impossible undertaking. I used to sell things on Ebay and enjoyed that, so maybe the Amazon thing will be kind of fun.

I woke up with achy muscles all over. I know that I'm sore from all the work I did over the past few days cleaning my apartment. Today I'll go hang out with my guy and relax. Just took aspirin for the aches. These aches give me such a sense of joy. They mean I'm getting back to my old self. Wow - being depressed can sure get a person out of shape. (I was doing next to nothing on so many days.) I hope this lasts. I really have an interest in being alive now. Its great.
Thanks for this!

Another great day! Went to church with my daughter and granddaughter. Took home KFC for lunch. Then nap with my granddaughter. She is still asleep while I am doing housework and schoolwork. Then off to WalMart for grocery shopping.

It is SO HOT here!! The heat index is 108 degrees!!
Thanks for this!
