I'm "working" at the office for most of today. Ever since coming back to work I just have a lack of motivation to do any work even though its super busy and I have stuff to do. Good thing I have PC to distract me.

I don't think it's just a couch thing. Maybe as the weather is getting nicer more people are going outside versus being on the computer.

I feel like for me it seems to be a lack of energy to start new threads. I at least try comment on others posts though alot of the times I feel lost.

I think I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed between work, my therapy work, and life in general. While I was very depressed, I spent more time here but as it's lifting, I'm spending more time with RL friends/family.

This morning, I'm lying in bed trying to get up on a rainy morning. I'm trying to remind myself feelings can lie. I'm fighting feeling that T actually thinks I'm just silly and annoying and she dreads my appointments and plasters a smile on her face and grins and bears it. It's an old thought pattern that I've had with many people.

Hope no one minds, but I am going to jump on the couch cushions to burn off this crazy amount of energy I have. I had a late meeting at work that left me a little wired....

I'm a bit bouncy too right now as I have T in the morning and usually get restless beforehand. Probably should try wind down though and save some of that energy.

I'm in crisis. My husband got suspended with intent from his job. They are trying to say he stole "time" - in other words- messed with his logs and stuff . It's really bad. We have no savings. We barely are able pay the bills as it is. His union rep will schedule a work hearing next week... but things don't look good. Plus I'll loose T-because it's under his insurance that I'm able to see her. It's bad. Really bad.

I'm so sorry, TTGB.

So, I get to work at home today...yay...PJ's all day, but I have a LOT to accomplish in a short amount of time. I'd better get to it. At least it's "graphic design" of sorts; creating a brochure and working on a corporate logo. Our company website went live two days ago. All really cool stuff!

Sconnie...I was wondering why the cushions were all out of place.

To everyone else, try and have a great day!

Thanks Chopin. And thanks for the hugs everyone else. I just can't believe it. I'm dumbfounded. Speechless. In shock. He is coming up on 10 years in working in his current position then he is vested and they have to match his funds. I wonder if they are just picking with him. He is going to get a labor attorney. We seriously can't afford to miss a dollar out of either of our pays. He will be out for at least a week till his work hearing. I'm just beside myself. Totally beside myself. I told him to start looking for a job NOW and not wait until the outcome. Like he needs to get on the ball. I am just...just....just.....totally lost. I don't know what to do. I am having a session with T tomorrow and the thought that it may be the last time I can see her for a while is just so...so...so...I don't even know. Its not like it was planned and there is time for closure. Or anything like that.

TTGB - it sounds like your in a hard predicament right now. Hopefully you can talk stuff over with your T tomorrow, maybe your T has a sliding scale or will be able to make some other arrangements that would allow you to have a few more sessions even if stuff doesn't go well for your H.

As stuff seems uncertain right now for you, is it possible to try explore all possible outcomes versus just looking at worse case senarios. It seems there is the possibility that your H will not lose his job in which case you would be putting yourself through a lot of undue stress right now. While you might not have any direct control over what happends with your H, can you focus on stuff you do have control over at the moment. Such as your session tomorrow, whether any free or low cost support is avaliable in your community, if in the worse case you are unable to see your T.

Please feel free to ignore if I am not being helpful. I just know sometimes we can get so caught up in the moment its hard to take a step back from the situation.

A major computer company I worked for, fired practically EVERYBODY right before they hit their 5-year vesting. Women managers, everybody, out the door, whoosh. Well, not everybody, obviously, but it leads me to believe you probably CAN get a better deal with an attorney, cos it's probably fishy on their end. Good luck!

Thank you. What you said does help and make a lot of sense. All of it is just so overwhelming and on Tuesday T and I opened a new can of worms focusing on something else. Had I known I would be in this predicament now- I would have never done that. But it's just not all about T. We are already very strapped for cash so it's very hard to not worry when your always just one paycheck away from being without.
