Driving to the mainland with my 2 (adult) kids today. Should be a good distraction. I realized that I haven't gotten dressed or left the house since last Sunday.

Granite-I say send that email although that's probably not a wise thing to tell you. She may get mad but she will get glad.
Lillie-I'm sorry you were up all night in a bad headspace.

Hello everyone-I have alot to read since I was not hear for a few days. Just want to pop my head in say hi and everything over here is status qoe.
I'm going to try to get out for a little bit today.

Is it any consolation if I tell you that I have often wanted to email your T and insist she let you email and write to her, and that I hate her? I've never met her even and I hate her.

Just to post my whine of the day, we went to Chicago over spring break to look at Northwestern for my son. While there, my husband used my truck to drive into Chicago and didn't have money for the tolls. There is some automated system I guess you can use and they send you a bill. My husband is in charge of paying bills because I am dyslexic. [Has anyone else ever noticed what a cruel name that is for a problem that causes people to jumble letters and numbers? It looks stupid even when it's spelled correctly.]

Anyway, long story short, the toll bills came in my name, my husband did not pay them. So, there's a fine involved and instead of like $5, it's now $65. AND he didn't pay that either so I got notice that MY license is about to be suspended.

I hate this man more than I can say right now. Trying to figure out if it's better to kick him out and continue to live next door to my ***** sister, thief brother in law and crazy mother. Or just put up with him, take over the bills and have my mother in law help me because I cannot see the numbers correctly, and be able to move sooner.
Thanks for this!

I have actually discussed with my therapist how stupid I feel that I am staying married because I love my mother in law and am afraid of losing her.

When people on here talked about mother issues with their therapist, I would actually get nauseated with the thought of 1) a female therapist for me and 2) having a mother issue with her. Then I realized it was probably more like my thing with my mother in law. She is the only older woman I've been in a relationship with, who I felt I could trust and who cared about me. I just cannot handle the thought of losing her.

My mother in law actually suggested I let my husband have this house because he gets along great with my family and that I move in with her.

I can't do it! They just look so snugly and cute. How would those people feel if the couch just tossed them of when it didn't feel like being there anymore lol
And my cats sitting with me calms me.

The solution is to make them sleep inside your cardigan - that way you can carry them arround a bit more easily.

In my house we call that CIL syndrome. Cat In Lap. It's a get out of jail free card. If someone has CIL they don't have to get up and the other person has to bring them anything they want as long as they have CIL. It is considered highly offensive for the other person to deliberately do anything to disrupt CIL syndrome.

See, that's how I want my T to carry me around all weekend - just get a big ol' hankster-size Snugli, pop me in, and then go cut the grass and whatever else he has to do. He's always bragging about how STRONG he is, how he can bench-press this and dead-lift that. Put your money where your mouth is, buddy! Is that too much to ask??

ETA: I guess this should go under the Embarrassing Questions thread, but you know me! Actually, I once said that - "but you know me!" to my mom, and she goes, "Uh, yeah, i've known you all your life now...!"
