Tried disobeying that rule once, and I had a BAD TRIP right before boarding a transatlantic flight. Complete with colorful hallucinations. Might have been fun if I hadn't lost my depth perception... Made getting on the escalator down to the plane a terrifying experience.

My husband figured out something was wrong when I turned to him and said as casually as possible, "So, the floor is NOT moving, right?"

Did anyone see the simpson's episode where homer sleep eats everything in the house while taking ambien? A friend of mine was taking it and actually did do the sleep eating thing. She stopped because of doing stuff in her sleep like eating an entire cake and turning the oven on but not turning it off.

You all are brave to post pictures of yourselves - but I like seeing them.
Thanks for this!

I know someone who had a similar experience as you, Sally. All she will say now about the psychedelic episode is that she saw "Purple...lots of purple."

It just made me fall over just like my current meds do (see pic on previous page).

I'm starting to feel the effects of my meds, but am I going to bed? Of course not. I want to paint a little longer. I am going to say goodnight here, though.

Everybody sleep well, medicated or not.

<wanders into thread a little bleary-eyed>

Good morning. Is there coffee?

Granite - that sounds like fun. I haven't done crafts in a long time. I should get back to that - it was so satisfying.

I'm off to live up to my username this morning and will be taking care of a bunch of orphaned raccoons, foxes, skunks and who know what else. My favorite "job."

Morning. Went to the gym this morning. Couldn't work out, anxiety got too bad. Anxiety 1 Wiki 0. There's always tomorrow.

I loved the pics, Granite you are a hottie.

Critter, here's a pic of one of the three orphaned minks they have at my wildlife center. I thought you would enjoy it.

Morning all -
Fresh pot of coffee just finished brewing.

Today's menu plan:
breakfast: Refrigerator oatmeal with a snack of dried cranberries at walnuts mid morning
Lunch: Another big salad with hard boiled egg and a piece of toast and 10 mini-pretzels for an afternoon snack.
Dinner: Probably some veggies with orzo that I can turn into a cold salad for Friday's lunch. For dessert I am going to try the chia pudding someone posted on a previous couch.

Does anyone else have the problem of responding to a different thread and then feeling like you want to talk with your t "right now"? I posted on a thread about vulnerability and it made me want to see t today. We had such a good session last time. Guess I fall into the missing t category. I swore I'd never go there, but here I am.

Wiki-
Cute!
We didn't see many baby animals in our nature park this year. I know they were there, but they hid well this season.

G'morning everyone.

Gotta get my tired butt out of bed and get to the office so my boss and I can attend a provider meeting (held by the same folks that did the training Tuesday ).

Then I'm helping the lady who took my old job write hab plans (think IEP for adults).

My day is planned, so everyone have a great day!

good morning miss granite! (i'm practicing my politeness - how'm I doin'?) I dreamt I was tryin on bras last night. I think it came from watching Hooterville ie Green Acres and the Beverly Hillbillies. Miss Jane - Nancy Kulp - was so hilarious. The ideals of femininity they displayed back then were downright depressing! Women just were not REAL.

But Granny said it best - the sweetest music comes from the oldest violins - you just need the right bow (beau). Then she said to Jed - that's witty, see there, Jed? and Jed goes, not THAT witty, granny. And granny goes, well it's better than, 'yew doggies!'.
