Wow...so I take a nap, and it's a whole new couch. I finish making a necklace and come back and the conversation has gone bizarre (trench coats, underground libraries, Despicable Me ).

I've seriously got to get out of this quiet streak.

Well, we're watching a show called "Haven" H likes. The main character is visited by a therapist. She said, "It'll go like this; you'll sit on the couch and we'll talk about the cushions for 6 months, then you'll decide you trust me and we'll get to the good stuff."

I was like, "Was she a fly on the wall in my therapy sessions or has she read this board?"

Its monday night football and my team is LOSING

That is crazy there is no way, I could walk foot into something so crowed like that!

There are only two things good about football:

1) the free football pool at the local casino, so I get to go out to breakfast every weekend while we fill out our football pool thingies.

2) all day Sunday while hubby is watching football, I get ME time!!!!!

Back from class. The instructor is trying to explain a point of church doctrine.
Me: But that is NOT what the Bible SAYS. It says right here, X, Y, Z.
Her: It's the church's position that . . .
Me: But Jesus said, "X, Y, Z." Right here (giving her the cite).
Her: The church says A, B, C . . .
Me: I've read the philosophers that try to argue X, Y, Z equals A, B, C, but their reasoning is so convoluted and if it were a statute, it'd be clear that his inclusion of X, Y, Z means the exclusion of A, B, C.
Her: I can't answer your question and I think we both realize that by now.
And she actually said it with a big grin. I think I like her quite a lot.

The whole internet and no balls smiley. Reminds me of that old commercial, "You have reached the end of the information superhighway."

Don't get me wrong Artemis , i believe she appreciates both and I thank you.

And I would hyperventilate and run away screaming if I attempted to go into that crowd. <shudder>
