That crowd does not actually bother me. As long as no one talks to me or touches me in a way I don't wish to be touched. I like crowds as long as I do not have to interact.

Wiki - I'm a day late, but Happy World Vegetarian Day to you!!!!

I'm going to try to catch up on the couch, but I hope everyone had a good day. I should have a short day tomorrow, but I still should probably try to get to sleep soon. Ugh - I also need to take the trash out by early morning. I miss when I was living in a high rise, and could just walk the rubbish to the trash chute several times a week.
Thanks for this!

Apt - Good luck with T! I try so hard to sleep in on my T day, but I am not a sleep in person. Was it you that someone suggested asking your T what it would take for him/her to leave you? I know you have been having the dreams, and maybe it would be a good question to ask. I am thinking of asking the same question of my T. I know it's easier said then done.

Yes, wikid suggested that I ask him that. Right now I think maybe I will. And then I think "maybe that's the question that will make him throw me out, out of frustration". Gaaah.

I KNOW that will not be the question that will make him throw you out. I also know that it is not an easy question to ask. I hope that you are able to say what you need to at t. i will be there in spirit. Now, I think the benadryl that I took for my allergies is taking effect. I am becoming quite tired. Good night (or good day).

I miss having a bathtub. I love taking long baths, with a cup of tea and a not-too-sensitive book. We have a sauna instead, and I like that, but on the whole prefer a bathtub.

There is TOO MUCH CUDDLING in the world. Especially by certain cats at 6am.

Poss germ soup trigger: when my choir visited Ireland some years ago, about 16 of us crowded into the hot tub at the hotel spa... people were actually stopping to stare, cos it got pretty crowded. Good times.

I kind of like watching football; we used to watch the world cup and European cup, but we don't have a TV anymore.

Oh, right, I mean soccer of course.

I think I shall sit quietly in a corner of the library and read and listen to Vivaldi and Hildegard von Bingen (in my headphones so as not to disturb anybody).

In the outside world, I'm about to be interviewed by the local newspaper about an upcoming science fiction event. Now where did I put my enthusiasm....?

I feel a nasty migraine brewing....and I'm in mama bear attack mode....

My daughter told me that she's afraid of one of her teachers because she yells....a lot. She mentioned that this teacher yelled a lot before....but last night, she said that she is nervous all day long until she goes to that class. And then she's relieved when the class is over. She's constantly afraid of forgetting a supply item or a piece of homework because she's terrified that she's going to get yelled at by this teacher.

I emailed the teacher and copied the guidance counselor immediately and am setting up a meeting.....Last night, I broke down in tears over it....I HATE the idea of my baby girl being afraid in school. HATE IT. After the kind of upbringing I had, I only want her to have love, nurturing and acceptance...NOT intimidation and screaming.

The way the school works, my daughter wouldn't be able to get another teacher unless she changes "houses" which would mean all new teachers...so I really hope this woman will work with me on this issue. I really just want to rip her a new one with my HIB handbook.....

Oh MUE -I hope you get it worked out with the teacher. It's NOT okay for a teacher to yell all the time at their students. I would wanna punch that person. Ugh. Let us know how it goes.

Chopin's crowd pic...NO FREAKIN WAY. I can't even go in a grocery store half the time.

trdle...thanks for the vegan day wishes. I actually forgot it myself!

So, Apt...how'd it go?
BTW...Since religion is such an issue, maybe they'll replace bible swearing in the courtroom with testicular oaths?

MUE...my son had a teacher like that. I hope you put this one in her place. No child should be afraid at school.

I am not sure it works with migraines, but I have noticed when I get a bad headache coming on a tea tree shampoo really helps. I just massage it in for a really long time, rinse, repeat. Then I use tea tree conditioner and massage that in for a while.

I'm off today. What's everyone up to? I have T at noon (EST). I think after what I revealed last week-today is going to start the "real" work. I have to keep my word and go in there with my defenses down.
