It is quiet. I haven't even showered yet. Lazying in my easy chair surfing the web.

I have to do a few things today...most importantly I need to wash windows and vacuum the screens and sills.

Today's Wiki Challenge.... Use fresh sage. It goes well with poultry, pears, apples, walnuts, sweet potatoes, squash.

Do a little saute with flax seed oil and a few of the above. It soothes sore throats, boosts memory, oxidizes blood. Good stuff, and yummy.

Morning all. It was a weird evening last night for me. My son was injured early in the school year, training for cross country. He was just released by his doctor on Monday evening to run, so he ran Tuesday and Wednesday, and ran the last varsity cross country meet before regionals, just last night. It went REALLY badly for him. He was last when before he was one of the better runners on his whole team and is the team captain. My poor baby. The up side was his whole team (and most of the parents) were there cheering for him along the course, and as he came across the line. Afterward, he went off by himself for a while and then let me come with him for a while because he didn't want anyone else to see him cry. Before he left the meet, he went and shook hands with him coach, saying he understood the coach wouldn't be able to let him stay on varsity to run at regionals with that bad of a time, but he thanked the coach for the opportunity to try and for letting him run varsity. So, SO proud of my son. And I hurt SO much for him because I know how important this was for him.

It is so painful to watch our children suffer. Sorry mkac. You are obviously a good parent.

How bad is it to be eating whipped maple out of the jar? (yum) I was putting it on apples along with pb, but i gradually stopped the pb and then the apples and now I just have the jar of whipped maple. Did I say yum?

oooo. I've never put fruit in my root roast, but that sounds amazing. I am going to the apple orchard tomorrow if I am not too sick. Perhaps root roast with apples and toasted walnuts is in my future!

You have the day off? Or are you just on break? Or have you been overtaken by espionage agents to monitor our conversations?

Hey everyone.

I'm hate that you are having a hard time RR and Wiki.

Need to get up and let the dogs out and start my day. I don't feel very well physically, but what's new?

I should probably start my own thread and not keep whining on here, huh? Isn't it weird that some people start lots of threads and seem to really like it and some of us just hang out here. I feel like I want to curl into a ball and just rock myself like I used to when I was little. Hide somewhere.

I talked to T yesterday afternoon and he said he was going to read the list at 8. He also said earlier he would call me after he read it and reassure me that his feelings for me had not changed. He has not called yet. When we talked yesterday, we didn't discuss him calling, but in session he said he would. So logically, I know that he is a GUY and guys forget this stuff, and since we talked yesterday and he said nothing would change, he may not realize that I still expected a call. That is all logical, right? But there is an eight year old in my head SCREAMING at me and wailing that he doesn't love us anymore and she told me so and it's all my fault because him not calling means he thinks we're gross.

you know i hate saying this because i would be the last person doing this but can you call leave a message saying you are worried things have changed.

i know how you are feeling and it is a horrible place to be .that feeling yucky, small and unloved, scared, humiliated, and the list goes on. i know for me i alway try to sit with those feelings and it makes me so miserable because for sure the T has better things to do.
but i am learning that my T can help make those feelings less strong with even one sentance. maybe if you call that can happen for you.sorry if i am rambling and just dont get it.
