ok cute grandchild story of the week. My oldest granddaughter , Emma age 6, called her Nana (W) and asked if Nana had Santa's number. Nana said she did but Emma couldn't have it as she wasn't old enough. Emma replied, Im 17 .... Nana said, no your not I was there when you were born....LOL

Fast forward , Me (Chief) called Emma today and said , why don't you tell me what you wanna tell Santa and I'll get Nana to give me the number and Ill call for her. She agreed, then gave me her list... after a few minutes she said..Hey Chief, why don't you get the number from Nana and give it to me...LOL
She called me back 10 minutes later, Chief do you have the number? I whispered no, Nana has to take a nap and Ill look for it....she whispered OK, let me talk to Nana... and the proceeded to tell Nana to take a nap! I love grand kids!

MUE I wish I had an answer for this. My son is 14 and we have the same battles here almost on a daily basis. Add, how hard is it to put your empty soda can in the recycle bin on your way out the door instead of leaving it on the table? and on and on. Ugh.

This is probably TMI... but I didn't think and ate beets for dinner... I hope there's no sample giving at the doctor's office tomorrow or they may think I have internal bleeding.

On one occasion, my Mum put my dirty dishes in my bed.
I can't remember if it made any difference, though.

sconnie, it should be out of your system by then! I had a (very thin) friend who made beets for dinner once, then thought she was deathly ill. I tried to tell her it was a natural reaction, but I guess nobody believes a fat girl knows anything about health!

Thanks Hankster and Granite. I am such a big ball of anxiety right now. I don't like going to the doctor. T wanted to know if we should discuss emotional eating some session and considering I just downed a bunch of chocolate covered popcorn and some animal crackers, I think that would be yes.

I get someone new tomorrow. I think that's the biggest part of my anxiety.
I need to stop whining and put on my big girl pants.
Maybe I will go wrap some Christmas presents to focus on something else for awhile.
