Can y'all tell I'm avoiding work? I ask boss for an assignment, don't particularly care for it, so avoid it.

We all like a variety of power tools. Nuff said. My mind is in the gutter.

Healed. It's about wanting to feel comforted. Food fills you up.
Thanks for this!

Healed food is my friend as It keeps me alive, but I have to remind myself it doesn't truly LOVE ME... even though it feels like a giant hug sometimes.

MUE - have you tried lemon juice with honey in hot water for your throat? Or I think Wiki posted a recipe this weekend that involved lemon and ginger.

I love my drill. I wish I was brave enough to use things like saws.

I need to stop obsessing about this doctor stuff. I am freaking out and have done absolutely nothing at work. Maybe I will write a post on the women's support and see if that gets it out of my system.

My t is awesome. ♥ She called me back, purposely waited until the afternoon because she remembered that I slept in late on most days and didn't want to wake me up. She helped me settle the thoughts running rampant through my mind, and reassured me. She also said she was "very proud of me for calling her", her words!!, and she knows that it's something that's very difficult for me. She encouraged me to not be so hard on myself about my sleep schedule- she says it's a new habit to form and it takes a while for new habits to form. I don't have to expect immediate success, but just making the effort is success in itself. She told me to get a nice nap in after the kids leave, and even said I was doing a good job in taking care of them (I had to settle an argument between them right in the middle of my 5 minute phone call. *head desk* Over a stupid bean bag too.).

I'm beaming. I haven't been told 'I'm proud of you' in YEARS. I can't remember the last time someone told me that.

I have a joke about battery operated handheld devices in my act....even though my teacher wants us to "keep it clean"....I clean mine every time I use them, so I don't know what he's talking about....

...He keeps trying to change my punchline on that one....saying that wishing some things were hydro powered is taking it too far....

I use whiskey instead of couch medicine. Works just as well and tastes a heck of a lot better.

I bet you did

That combo, minus the whiskey, is what I have always used.

Hot water (not too hot or it will kill the vitamins in the honey), honey, lemon juice, cloves, and whisky (which is optional) is my cold chaser awayer of choice.

One of my kittens started biting on my iphone when it was lying on the bed as I was changing my trousers after work. I put it down for two minutes and the silly feline starts batting at it and biting the corner of it.

So I started a thread about what I am referring to as "the incident" today:

Someone please tell me to focus on my job.... I am heading toward a bad place in my head.

(I have to ask though - isn't honey by definition organic?)
Thanks for this!

My kitty that I used to have would use my stuff as her own personal chew toys all the time.

Back to work couchers.

See you all later hugs and love.
