I have to go meet with a surgeon and then have a biopsy. I am so scared right now. I had to sit in the parking lot for an hour just to calm down enough to drive.

I have to wait a whole week to meet the surgeon and then wait again for the biopsy. At least they didn't do the mammogram. I have no doctor right now since mine quit. Sorry. I am just freaking out and should probably go hide in bed. I am tempted to call my t's office and see if there is anything available on Monday instead of Tuesday.

Yesterday I talked to one of our board members about it and she said the doctors around here do scare the crap out of you. She got all her films and took them to Mayo (about 250 miles away!) and now she goes there instead.

It was totally a chance for me to go ahead and describe for the class (and thereby the judge also) how this guy's Constitutional rights to a speedy trial were violated and what the legal argument about this issue was going to hinge on. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the judge's eyes go wide as I talked and he flipped the file open and started reading rapidly. He looked over at the prosecutor at one point like, WTH? The prosecutor admitted they have at least three dead witnesses, but they're moving forward. He said to these high schoolers that the lesson here is that the State will go after you even after many years if you commit crimes so you should not do that. Yeah, THAT'S the lesson.

I'm gonna be a paper girl. I have to look over the river and thru the woods for my own Sunday paper so I offered to deliver to the other 10 subscribers in the apartment complex. I'd rather take a shower for 10 people rather just me. I'm excited!

Absolutely. It's good to be safe and get the biopsy done, but there's a very good chance you're ok, and they really do scare the crap out of you. Whatever happens, you're strong and you'll make it through! Hope you get a hold of T soon.
Thanks for this!

I think you should fully commit to the paper girl thing and make a point of throwing it against their doors in the morning
Thanks for this!

healed, you gotta start with the peepee first. LOL. I made targets out of toilet tissue squares. I drew red circles on the squares and then floated them in the toilet and asked him to "shoot" them. I also threw some cheerios in the toilet and asked him to sink them.
Thanks for this!

There is an emergency number, but it's only for "after hours" and I know darn well that Thursday is the busiest day in their offices so there is someone there today. It's my t's late day. I said if there was an opening on Monday to please call me otherwise I would just come on Tuesday.

I think I am going to go over to my mom's house. She wasn't there when I stopped before. But first I am going to take my cats out for a walk.

The message should relay what you are needing...express the situation and as to why you NEED to see T early. I am sure T will check message and respond.

I just asked about an appointment. The answering machine is a general one for all the t's in the office. I don't really want the secretary (whom I am not super fond of) relaying the message.

My T session went well. A lot of recapping about how successful my show was and how big of an accomplishment it was. Bittersweet session, actually. Leaves me feeling kinda sad, for some reason. I can't seem to pinpoint why.
