I was afraid that would be the answer. Ugh, my mom already told me that and I just love when she's right. lol
It's also gotten to where I get short of breath talking...so I guess I will call my doc.

murray, I went to the doctor finally because of a cold that had lasted three weeks. The diagnosis was that I had a cold. But, if you're short of breath, you should probably get it checked out.
Thanks for this!

Murray , she had a 50-50 chance, chalk it up to lucky guessing. I didn't even know about the shortness of breath thing... definite call to the old doc in a box!
Thanks for this!

Are you sure ornery wasn't part of the diagnosis?

Shortness of breath is a good thing to have checked out.. I have been seeing colds last a long time in the school this year.. There is a nasty little virus going around.

Just poppin onto the couch to say - hey! Haven't gotten caught up on the couch yet, cuz I just got home from work...but I gotta run out at the moment for a few hours to help my mom with some things. I am SO not in the mood, though, cuz this migraine is still brewing and my neck is killing me. I just put some prescription anti-inflammatory ointment on my neck. Hope it helps!

Gotta run! (( HUGS )) to my couch peeps....

You must use a different scale there. Around here, normal blood sugar is 4, 10 is bad and 30 sends you to hospital. 600 would turn your blood to toffee!

Woke up in the middle of the night last night - like 3 am - caught a couple of episodes of Dobie Gillis.I loved Maynard G Krebs aka Bob Denver aka Gilligan so much! But the most as Maynard.

Yes. Yes it does.

Stands for "Qualified Professional". That tells you a lot, doesn't it?

I may have told this story before, but I think it bears repeating. Before I first landed the "QP" job, my ex-GF was in the position. Apparently someone called work to get information about her. Our administrative assistant at the time (who was pure country...strong southern accent) seemed quite proud of herself when she said that ex-GF was the Q-M-R-P. She became even prouder when apparently she was asked what it stood for. She said, "ex-GF is a Qualified Mentally Retarded Professional." I started laughing so hard I had to run away so as not to embarrass her.

Qualified Mental Retardation Professional.

New puzzle I'm doing now. c: These pieces are much bigger, much easier for my clumsy fingers to grab.

You need a good QP? I'm available!

Trust me, we are not using MR anymore; it's illegal now. I've never used it in my title, my ex-GF did. It would probably be QIDDP. We are no longer an ICF-MR, we are an ICF-IID.

MR and levels will be called "intellectual disability" in the DSM-5; i.e. "moderate intellectual disability".
