No, both my gyn and pdoc don't recommend it for me. I'm fortunate that my pdoc has a sub specialty in treating menopausal issues. She even wrote a book about it.

thanks for reminding me that my being overly emotionally sensitive today is probably due to PMS...

LOL....We've reached a new level of closeness, being aware of each other's PMS schedules....it's probably one of the most important pieces of information necessary in sustaining relationships....Bahahaha.

When I was in college, all the women on my floor cycled together. The guys on our floor made themselves scarce for a few days every month.

Ugh bed bugs don't even remind me. Worst PITA in the world.

Also, I'm scared to be on a regular menstrual cycle now. LOL. I don't want PMS! (has had metorrhagia since as long as she can remember and is finally on hormone pills to 'fix' it. Is scared!!)

Funny story about PMS. Many years ago when I worked at my first 'real' job, all of us were in our early 20's when we started there and kinda grew up together. Anyway, there was a group of us gals that got along really well with one of our male supervisors and one time somebody told a joke about PMS and stapling a guys you know what's to the desk or something stupid like that, dumb joke but whatever LOL so we started putting our stapler up on the top of our cube wall when it was 'that time of the month' so he would be sure to stay away. LOL YEARS later, at a reunion, somebody brought a stapler. OMG it was hilarious.

Feel like crying my eyes out right now..What torture is this? One of the very few people who I admire and look up to...the biggest inspiration in learning to accept myself...is coming down to speak. Here. 30 minutes away from me. But I can't afford the tickets to go. $55 each. and it says "A workshop for parents, teachers and professionals working with those with autism spectrum disorders" Not for autistic individuals themselves. So I wouldn't actually get much benefit from it probably.

But still. I so badly want to meet Temple grandin. Why must this happen to me :c

Sila, I'm sorry. I love her books. She spoke at my University a few years ago, but it was a free lecture, so I know she does those. Do you live anywhere near a major University? Don't give up hope of hearing her.
