The films? Because, you see, I love the books but I'm not all that keen on most of the films. But I think the fans of the LotR movies have in general loved the Hobbit movie - and to be fair I liked this movie better than LotR.
And I saw it with a largish group of friends, and we laughed in a lot of inappropriate places

Proud of myself.. gifts for daycare provider, teachers purchased, dinner in the crockpot, clean laundry, entertainment center cleared off, getting ready to vaccum.. and I still have to go run things at the Christmas program.. I never have this kind of energy these days!!!

T session over. It was....eh....

Didn't talk about finances. Didn't talk about discontinuing therapy. Didn't talk about SI'ing.

A lot of silence.....

T tried to get me to see the good things....and that feeling "better" right now is not the goal. Considering my situation, it's not a reasonable one. He wants me to at least not do things to make myself feel worse....and one of those things is putting things off that are uncomfortable until they become a big issue....

He said that I won't be unemployed forever.

I challenged him on a couple of things - and he was like, "Who's the one thinking clearly? You or me?"....I told him he was. He then said something like "I'm always right"....in a joking way. I said, "You're such a MAN"....LOL

So, at least the session ended with him not thinking I was going to fall off the deep end...

I got good news today - benign test results! I'll catch up later. I have a list of about 15 people to call yet.

I just remembered the dream I had last night, was it last night? I was in Chapel Hill and supposed to pick up my wife from a Dr. appointment. I was an hour early and decided to knock around downtown for a while. Oh, I was on a John Deere riding lawnmower, on the sidewalks of Chapel Hill. When I would get to a courtyard with steps, I would get off, cut the mower off, and pull the mower up the steps, it was light and portable. Somehow my wife found me and she morphed somewhere along the way into my old college girlfriend. In the end it was me and my best friend and his ex-wife sitting at an outside Mexican place and me suddenly remembering my lawnmower and frantically searching for it before figuring out someone had stolen it.

Since I've been on Temazepam, I have had some tremulous dreams.

(((sconnie)))

Hurray!!!! Woot!!! Yippee!!! So good.

I didn't like the wizard. I'll get over it though. I am glad I decided to do radiation near home, all this driving to and from Boston is killing me. (and my H and my daughter)

Good night all.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate that you've all put up with my anxiety the last few weeks. You are all awesome. I have learned so much about giving and receiving support from everyone on the couch.

Apt and Lola - I am so jealous you are getting to see the Hobbit already. I am waiting until next weekend I think - too much going on this weekend already and I want to enjoy it. I am a LoR addict (books and movies).

Wiki - I am sorry you didn't like the wizard, but glad you can get radiation closer to home. The driving is difficult. One of my friends drove her husband 120 miles round trip everyday for 8 weeks for radiation treatments. It was exhausting for them both.

Chopin - hope your party goes well!

I am going to take a shower. I have never been so happy to take a shower in my life!

So where in Colorado is this commune? I nominate Woody Creek. We could commune with the ghost of HST. Hang out at the Woody Creek Tavern.
