I find it incredibly rude that my Ativan is:
a) allowing my heart to keep racing b) making me feel like I am going to fall asleep at my desk One or the other, people. How the hell can it be BOTH of these things?? Grr. |

The sleepy part I get. If your heart is still racing , maybe you can breathe and try to focus on being calm?

zoloft makes me tired AND jittery for half the day. Meds are weird. Mine hasn't helped yet. I'm sorry pbutton, that wasn't too helpful but I definitely empathize with you about the effects of meds!

Eww I realized a little while ago that I completely forgot to put on deodorant this morning. Was running late and guess I missed a step. Now that's sure to make me lots of friends.

I keep a thing of deodorant at my desk. Also some body spray, just in case. And eyedrops and salt and Tylenol and . . .

I'm a regular Boy scout too MKAC. It has to be due to my upbringing.... my friends laugh at me because I have band-aids, water, food, hairspray, medicine , chains, jumper cables, a blanket, fix a flat , tool kit etc in my vehicle...one never knows what they may need.

I think it's probably a result of always having to take care of ourselves and having no one to rely on. And also that fear of being judged -- smelling bad and having people think we're disgusting.

I feel that way about eyesight. I have been extremely nearsighted since I was 6. Now I also need reading glasses. How can I both not see far away and not near either but not be blind? |

Oh man do I get this one. I am always living in fear of that because I feel disgusting all the time and have to work so hard to make sure that I don't inflict that on anyone else, hence smelling bad...or just the possibility of that...is dreadful.

The duct tape and WD-40 are in my truck, although I limit my sharp implements to good knives. In my truck there are also jumper cables, tool kit, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, halter and lead rope, and helmet. Right now, there is also a bridle, saddle and saddle pad. [Just in case it gets nice enough to ride, I can just hook up the trailer, load the horse and head down the road.] I have the fire extinguisher because my truck actually caught on fire once, when we were pulling the trailer. Luckily, there was a fire extinguisher in the trailer, or my entire engine would have been ruined. So now there is an extinguisher in the truck and the trailer.
In the glove box is Tylenol, another knife, motion sickness pills, a Leatherman multi tool, benadryl, benadryl cream, toilet paper, copies of the rabies certificates for the dogs, a durable power of attorney, copy of my health insurance car, candy and a granola bar. |

It aggravates me when I call another business and the person says they will need to take message, and I give them my name and number, and then start to tell them the message and THEN they ask me to wait a minute so they can get paper.
